Ice and electrotherapy was only doing so much. I needed compression but not too much. I took a shot in the dark on this product and I was pleasantly surprised! It's nice and comfortable to wear for extended periods of time. It was the perfect amount of compression that I needed. And best of all, they don't slip and slide down! They have a material at the top that prevents that and it works very well! I'm sure they are also great for sport related activities as well. I stand 10+ hours in a work day. these don't have much compression, nor zones of differing tightness. There is just a strip of 'stickiness' (not really sticky, but its what helps hold them up on your thigh) and when it decides to roll down on itself, its hard to fix if you have other layers on over them. They are nice for what they are. Limited help for anything besides an ankle-leg covering that is slightly snug, though.So; great for a leg covering if you want to wear shorts.
