TonTon Award Winning Ginger Japanese Dressing and Marinade (33.8 fl oz)

This stuff is GREAT. I bought a bottle of this a Costco in the spring and it sat on a shell, ignored, for months. Finally got going on my "salad diet" again (and again... and...) and the salad dressing that comes prepacked with the salad has about 40 quadrillion calories (it's delicious is why - really good tasting things have trillions of calories while you'll notice cardboard and sand have very few) so I went looking thought the shelves for a substitute - and voila! Found the bottle of Ginger dressing...This stuff is addictively delicious and has only a couple hundred calories (even when drenching the salad - because face it - eating weeds really isn't that tasty). So I go through the bottle just to find that Costco no longer carries it (I like Costco - but I hate Costco for this reason - they cut stuff all the time that I like)...Anyway, I went looking online for it and found these guys and the price seemed reasonable, and so I got both bottles these folks were listing.This stuff is SO good - maybe you have to like ginger (I do), but three-four tablespoons of this over he salad with a couple dashes of soy sauce - a very tasty very low calorie dressing. If you can find it, and if you like the taste of ginger (or are even ambivalent about it) - GIVE THIS STUFF A TRY!I only wish I'd bought a case of it when I had the chance!

When I make an Asian style stir-fry dish, I almost always add this dressing and marinade along with other ingredients. I've been using it for years and was happy to discover I could order it from Amazon when I no longer shopped at Costco. After reading the reviews it's obvious I've been limiting it's usefulness. I'll be trying it as a marinade for meat and fish and also as a dressing for salad and veggies. Looking forward to experimenting. Thanks reviewers!

Excellent product! Great for salads!! But this time the bottle arrived broken

I’ve tasted this dressing at a friends house and bought it immediately because it is seriously so delicious! Unfortunately the glass bottle was shattered when it arrived and dressing was all over the box :( luckily amazon issued me a refund immediately which is amazing! However now it says that Ton Ton has no more dressing left for me to try ordering another. I’m so sad that this happened as I was excited to eat it for lunch this week. I hope Ton Ton will consider plastic bottles or package these more cautiously!

Update to my previous review. Amazon refunded the purchase price for the broken bottle immediately. Took some research to figure out how to get a refund since it's not a refundable product. Amazon should make the process easier. Value - Others may have given up but at about $26 for this ginger, I was going to either get another bottle or a refund, and finally got the refund. Poor packaging is why it broke. The bottle was wrapped in plastic but then only cushioned on the bottom. The whole bottle needed to be in bubble wrap and it would have made it ok. Flavor - Still only 3 stars because what we could use of the ginger tasted nothing like the restaurant kind, as stated in the ad.

It is one of the best dressing and marinade that I have tasted. It works well either as a marinade or dressing, saving money! I love the taste and will continue to buy it. For now I use it as a dressing/marinade, and as I evolve into a vegetarian I will use it as a dressing!! :)

Delicious and low in carbs and sugar.I got it beautifully and carefully wrapped and packaged and in record time. Maybe the day after I ordered it or at the most two days. Very happy. Only problem is that I understand it's available at Cosco for 1/4 the price.

I first discovered this dressing in Costco. I recall it was under $8. The taste is great and it's been my must-have cooking item. I was able to buy from Costco till sometime last year. Now I can only buy from Amazon that charges much much more. For that reason, I give it 4 stars instead.
