The book's content is wonderful. Very enjoyable. The binding on the book came broken. I am amazed by the amount of review images there are for this product and all of them show issues with the binding. Would expect the publisher/author to step up the game. Either way, content is great and the binding was glued back on.

The book itself is great and I had no complaints, however when it was shipped, there was no box around it or padding, and was just tossed in a box much larger than itself. This resulted in a lot of not-bad-but-very-noticeable scratches and marks on the covers from it bumping against the other book I ordered. Maybe more of an Amazon issue than a seller issue, but something to be aware of if you're expecting this book to arrive pristine. Other than that it's great! 10/10. Only docked a star for the shipping issues.

Nicely presented text, accompanied by pictures and in a great, not boring, format. Comes not o Lu with the whiskey knowledge but also reviews of various whiskeys.The book itself is of amazing print quality

I purchased this book after meeting Mr. Robinson on a FB Live event in early June 2020. I am a Sensory Scientist by profession, so the taste/flavor of whiskey was of interest & initially drew me to the event, but I found him to be very knowledgeable and entertaining - and able to tell a story. I'm not knowledgeable about whiskey and his book doesn't disappoint! The amount of detailed information is amazing and the design of the book is just stunning - so many photographs (both current & historic), easy-to-read charts/graphs, labels, and clear & crisp words to tell great stories. I'd highly recommend this to the novice whiskey enthusiast.

... and you'll be an instant expert. This publication is an outstanding achievement for the whiskies world at large! Amazing quality inside an out. The binding and paper stock scream high-end, while the contents of the whiskies courses contained within seal the deal. But don't be scared, this is truly a book for all whiskies enthusiasts; new to the world, or a bit long in the tooth, there's something in there for everyone! Quite impressive in its breadth and depth of content, though not in the least unexpected from a man who has been living and breathing the whiskies world for so long. Make no mistake, this book will stand as the new defacto whiskies resource for ages to come!

A good beginners book. You get a good lesson in whiskey overall with a snapshot of history into various countries whisky production. It’s a great start but follow it by reading more specialty books. I do feel like the whiskeys they say to try were mostly in there to make the book bigger. They could’ve been left out. But all in all a good read.

Ultimately fixed the binding and did give this as a gift. It is well-enjoyed. The content is very well written and is a very interesting read with beautiful photos throughout as well. Just too bad that it was delivered by Amazon in such bad shape.

For a relatively small book the Author packs a wallop of Information.He manages to keep your attention throughout and the book is set out well with good visuals.
