Pioneer Photo Square Glue Stick, 0.42 oz

I love how easy it is to get glue into the corners of things you want to stick down.

Love it. I screwed up my first purchase of this glue stick because I didn't "operate" it correctly (duh), but even then I could tell it was a terrific glue; I just defeated the purpose of the flat and wide edge, so I had to pick the glue out with a knife and use it that way. I'm extremely happy with my second tube. It works extremely well in cardmaking because elements adhere very well to card stock but don't warp even thinner paper. Unless I'm adding very loose elements to a card (flower soft, for example), this is my main go-to glue.

Bought this because I thought the square edge for corners would work well. Turned out I'm too liberal with my gluing technique to just use it in the corners. I did use it to glue on thinner papers to the back of tags in Junk Journals. Seemed to work ok, but when I used it to adhere cardstock to chipboard for the cover it did not stick at all. Could peel the cardstock right off after 15 minutes. And no, it was not still wet here was no tack whatsoever. Would say it is ok for thin papers but will go back to Scotch Create permanent as my go to when I have to use a glue stick instead of Art Glitter Glue.

I was kinda skeptical when I started using the product because it seemed like the edges weren’t sticking well. The pointed edges do help to get the edges of the photos, I do imagine using a circular glue stick would be annoying. So I think the design is good. I had to go back and glue the edges back down on some of the photos that weren’t stuck well. But then I tried to lift a photo off the canvas after they were all completely dry, and it was stuck too good, it would have ripped the paper! Anyway, I surprisingly used the entire stick all the way to the bottom at the end of my project. So it worked out perfectly!

I had no idea there was such a thing - a glue stick with square sides! What a great idea. I was looking for a photo-safe glue stick to create a photo collage, that was archival as well. The square sides of this stick make precise placement of the glue very easy. It goes on smoothly and cleanly. And the other positive reviews convinced me to order this, and I'm glad I did. I think you will be too.

Great product! Was worth the long wait. I never thought it would get here. It took nearly a month to get shipped. Just keep that in mind if you need it immediately - good luck to you!

This was a great glue stick when it was still rectangular in shape. i find the triangular shape is okay, but not great, there is less coverage when applying glue to a large piece, might as well use a round glue stick! And the formula seems to have changed as well - it's softer and smushes up more than the old style. Also it seems the stick doesn't last as long as it used to. So while I'm not a big fan, it's fine, I just prefer the old rectangular shape which was great.
