Fixed my issue
Fit the truck. Works as intended. Fixed my problem. Fairly easy to replace.

Works for 2009 Chevy Silverado Passenger Door
For whatever reason it says it won't fit but I ordered this part for the passenger door and it works. It also removed the door ajar light if that is an issue for anyone that has similar problems. Followed youtube videos on how to take the door panel off. Easy plug in and and reassemble took about an hour by myself.

My electric steps quit working cause my door latch was out, put these new ones in and steps work and even the door closes easier

dont do it, worked for a month and quit
lasted about a month before the internal open door switch failed and keeps dome light on at all times. i can watch the ajar switch work but the open door switch itself doesnt on scanner

Works, but had to use existing handle connector.
Installed in a 2007 Chevy Tahoe. Fits and works well so far, however the connector that attaches to the threaded door handle post did not fit. I had to take the plastic connector off the old unit to make it work. The diameter of the new connector was too small and would not clasp over the post.

Seems to be a good product in the few days I've used it.
Not an easy part to install for a diyer. Nothing to do with the part itself, just hard to access.

Installed the actuator and found a completely different problem in that it would’t close properly. If you were to push the door closed, it would bounce back. Tomorrow I am looking at taking it out and installing the old one again so it can be tested and see if it will still work. Not pleased with the new one and have tried all kinds of adjustments to the door striker as well as the actuator. Up date, also not impressed with Amazon's return policy. Originally came back to them on last day and they refused to accept a return.
