Meh....PASS!
Bought one for fun. It feels cheap and not too durable. The small control buttons are close together as well. Some soft rubber plugs and a little better material would make for huge improvements. The app works flawlessly with the iPhone. The app interface is easy and there are may options. It comes with a small magnet with adhesive on one side so you can attach the back of the camera to something.Unlike the website says and all of their advertisement displays green NV, my unit has the black and white night vision. I was really hoping for the green.... Indoor NV performance is pretty good you can see objects in detail with complete darkenes for a good 20 feet. Outdoor performance with limited moonlight is worthless. The only thing you can see I'd the ground or large objects within 15 feet. Forget about seeing animals like they market. I could locate or keep my dogs in view unless they were within 10 feet of me and not moving. It feels more open source and still crowd funded.... support site seems to be lacking. Granted there is not much on the market in regards to night vision linking with phone for a mobile NV solution.... I feel lied to with their marketing propaganda and feel this product should only be 50% the price. Sometimes you don't get what you pay for. I'd pass on this.

Horrible customer service (nothing special, just an RMA request to exchange, but with unreasonable conditions)
Chinese junk you can already buy on Amazon. Selling from Italy, even the package said Shenzhen. Mine was DOA: Nothing. Plug it in, one led blinks and that's it. I let it charge overnight, still, nothing. I reached out for help and after several days received a reply from them demanding the unit be returned in to Italy in 3 DAYS. That's right, I pay postage (to ITALY) to get it there in 3 days?!Avoid Micromedia, they just OEM these things which are an absolute pain to pair with your phone. And, They assume you're willing to stick a quarter size piece of metal to the back of your phone so the MAGNET in the back of scope will stick to your phone?! Let's put a magnet millimeters from all those sensitive sensors in our phone, just doesn't sound like the greatest idea in the world. And it uses 2.4 GHz WiFi, good luck pairing anywhere near a neighborhood. Lastly, how to you remove the metal disk you essentially glued to your phone when you decide to sell your phone? There are SOOOO many better night vision solutions out there, get a REAL night vision scope; a separate scope, like one that doesn't require a bright cellphone screen to view from. Get a scope, you don't need a phone for night vision. Chances are you'll lose fumbling around with settings. A normal night scope will likely use cheap AA or watch batteries, and you won't lose your phone in the dark. Besides, most security cameras include night vision if you want to view remotely.Snooperscope is without a doubt the most expensive carnival toy I've ever purchased. Now it's just a piece of just junk that I'll offer on ebay for parts. What a disappointment....

Kind of a scam, and not what they claim it to be
This isnt what it claims to be. Its a regular camera with IR LED's, not a true nightvision scope like they claim. Nothing you cant get for $75 elsewhere. They through you off and try to scam you with the green image that they use but its fake. If you are out of the IR range, which is about 10 feet, you arent seeing a thing.

We really enjoy it.
I bought mine through the crowd sourcing campaign and have had it for quite a while. I have been very happy with the product. It could have been built sturdier, but I have never had any trouble with it. We have used it to record raccoons, lizards, and tarantulas at night with great success. The reasons I don't give 5 stars is for the following minor issues. The usb plug to charge is some times difficult to be sure it is seated. The three buttons can be confusing to the user becuase the orientation can easily reversed in the dark,. The software has not been updated since 2014. Using at night, while trying to maintain your night vision can be difficult, because its video viewed on the iPhone or iPad can easily overwhelm your eyes in the dark.

I bought one off the Indiegogo funding. Works as described. It took me a little while to get it connected to my phone, though.
