Look at my photo of real thing.
Just took out of packaging...not as pictured, not extra thick. Compare instead to thickness of corrugated cardboard or lunchbox insulation. I have attached photo comparing thickness of mat to the attached strap width. Strap is 3/4 inch elastic. Pad is approximately one third the thickness of strap. Does NOT correspond to the misleading product photos from TD Fishing. Look at my photo and see the real thickness of pad. Roughly 19.5 wide x 70 inches long with attached elastic straps.

Somebody doesn't know the difference between inches and centimeters. Also not sent by TD Fishing.
This mat might be a full .4 cm (4mm) thick, but it is nowhere near .4 in (1 cm) as stated. Actually, the other measurements are correct in inches, so it would seen this is just a case of false advertising.I wonder if the huge difference in reviews has to do with the fact that the mat is advertised as being sold by TD Fishing, but the one sent to us was sold by Elena's Home.

Light Weight Big Comfort
This is a quality, well designed, perfect addition to easily transportable lightweight camping (backpacking) gear. It will be a good friend to isolate you from cold ground and rocky terrain. A real must have at great price.

Extra padding 4* for zero gravity chair
It adds support and more comfort to my zero gravity chair I take camping with me ((too many spinal surgeries for the ground). The pad is lightweight and can be easily strapped to a backpack. It’s not real comfortable for extended periods (past a week for me). However, for my purposes, the mat works well enough for 4 stars.

This mat is super thin, and the aluminium foil is bad quality. Definitely not a good mat for camping or yoga practise. From my point of view not worth the money. I returned it, but as it was coming from China, they just refund the money and didn't ask to send it back. I throw it away

What it lacks in padding it makes up for in weight
As others have commented, it is a little thin to use as a sleeping pad, but it makes up for it with it's extremely light weight. The description is a bit misleading with the "extra thick" title, but it it'll do the job for the minimalist who is concerned about every gram.

I have never seen one of these before but so glad that I did see it I had no idea so much more comfortable

Haven't used it for an entire night-- yet.
Haven't used it for an entire night camping in a sleeping bag on a tent floor, but I did lay on it briefly to try it out and it seems fine. Lightweight and easy to roll up and tote.
