Lock jammed cannot use.
The lock is cheap flimsy. It jammed rendering the lock useless. Do not buy!!

Disappointing
The lock-piece is smaller than anticipated, a bit awkward to lock and unlock, and (most seriously) does not sit flush against the body of my Lenovo X220 laptop when it is in place. Because it doesn't sit flush, the inserted portion, which binds the lock to the laptop, is visible and moves around a bit, making it appear weak and vulnerable. I am not sure how easy it actually would be to break it off, but it looks as if it might be worth a try (if you are interested in swiping my laptop). Which kind of undermines the essential purpose of this gadget. By way of comparison, I owned an earlier, slightly larger and more substantial laptop lock of similar design that sat sturdily in place and exhibited no entry point for tampering (I made the mistake of giving it away to someone more in need of the item than I was at the time). That one inspired confidence and elicited no complaint from me.
