Bike Lift Hoist

Excelent product easy to install and operate. I installed in my garage and now my bike won't take space. I recoment this product specially if you have a tight space or if you want to keep things organized. My other bike is also hanging with hooks but it takes some effort to hang it. This system is better since you pull a rope and when you pull the portion lifted stays up.

This is one of the best ways to store your bike if you’re out of space in the garage. If you’re capable of installing it yourself, you can hang your bike close to the ceiling of your garage, up and out of the way so it doesn’t get damaged and you can use the space in your garage you don’t normally utilize. Overall installation took me about 2-3 hours since I had to build a way for the mounts to screw into the ceiling of my garage because of the way the 2x4’s are placed due to the build of my house. Build quality is really nice. I’ve used this bike mount multiple times now and haven’t had any issues with it. My bike has never slipped down or moved once it’s set. This is a great way to keep your garage organized. Since you can mount each mount whatever distance apart you need to, this bike mount can accommodate any size bike whether mountain or road. I use it for my Trek Top Fuel 9.3, hooking the handlebar and the back of the saddle to lift the bike into the air. Great product.

I ordered two (2) of these these to store two bicycles in my garage. The first one I opened must have been built on a Monday because it required some "custom work" to tweak the pulleys into alignment. Pulley alignment is easily tweaked by hand or with a wrench. Also, one of the pulley brackets was not formed properly did not contact the stops reliably (see circled area in one of the photos). If left this way, it would certainly shorten the life of the rope. I was able to fix this with a pair of "channel-lock" pliers. The second one had no quality problems that I could see. Instructions were easy to follow. The rope has a somewhat loose weave and seems like it may not last very long. I suspect if a stiffer rope is used however, the locking mechanism may not grip as reliably. Overall this was a decent value. The quality issues found kept this from being a 5-star review.

I needed to reclaim some garage space so it was time to find a solution for the gravel and mtb bikes. I had a wall rack but that took up too much floor space with the tires sticking out. I decided on this product and am very happy with the result. The pulley system and brackets are well-designed and solid. The bikes lift up to the ceiling effortlessly, especially the full-suspension mtb which is heavier than road or gravel bikes. The locking mechanism securely keeps the bikes in place, and it’s very easy to bring one down. I wanted the two bikes to sit close to each but my garage ceiling joists are on 16” centers which was too wide. Plus the joists were going in the wrong direction. So I bought a 2’x4’ sheet of 3/4’ plywood and hung that into one of the joists using three lag bolts. Solid! Now I can mount the brackets wherever I needed them without the constraint of joist spacing. I painted the plywood to match the a garage ceiling before hanging it. I took all the measurements for bike placement and then screwed the four brackets into the plywood. The finished installation is very nice. The bikes are hung in opposite directions so the bars don’t hit, and they are close together to get a good fit in the area that I selected. Overall I’m very happy with my purchase.

Very pleased with the two sets of pulleys. Freed up a lot of floor space in the garage by suspending two adult bikes. Installation easy if you're handy, the pulleys seem to be well made. Easy to lift and lower the bikes. 12 year old grandson can do it. Photo attached...

This is my review of Wallmaster’s Ceiling Mount Lift This is an excellent way to claim space in your garage or storage space, by lifting your bikes off the floor, and up to the ceiling. The system is made of black-coated stainless steel that will support a load of up to 100 pounds (45kg) and is relatively easy to install. In my personal experience, I had it up and working in about 30 minutes. The rubber-coated bike hooks attach to the handlebars and the back of the seat and is adjustable to almost any size or type of bike. The pully system distributes the weight of the bike, making it easy to lift even heavy bikes. I can lift my heavy mountain bike up to the ceiling with one hand. Having never used one of these lifts before, I was skeptical, but no longer. If your bikes are taking up too much room, my suggestion is just lift them up to ceiling… using this device.

Works well and at a great price. I've used it for several months and I am pleased with the quality of this product. Installation was straightforward. I used the screws included with the mount. I didn't have to deal with sheetrock and mounted it directly onto the wood. I found driving the screws fully into the ceiling joist was difficult with a screwdriver. I had to be patient and tighten them slowly and carefully to avoid stripping the head. Screws with lug nut heads enabling the use of a wrench to drive the screw would be much easier. I have not had a problem with the hooks for the seat but I feel safer using a cord added to the hook to loop around the seat as others have demonstrated. Using the rope requires a hand-over-hand action to avoid rope burn if you just let the bike's weight slide the rope through your hands. If needed, I would buy this product for a second bike.

The pulley system I thought was awesome. Both mounts went up easily. Had them both up in an hour. 6 Screws per system. Raising the second bike, the rope broke. The rope has two layers. The outer layer pulled away. Probably have enough rope to replace the broken sections, but in the long term I don't trust it. May look into replacing it with really good paracord for safety.

Easy to install and did not take too much effort to hoist a 55 pound ebike. I like the automatic brake on the lifting cable that kicks in when you release the cable adjust your grip
