I do like this shrink wrap. I use it mostly on #4, #2 & 2/0 wire in my solar system and batteries. I tested it on a piece of #4, which is 1/2" thick and it worked really well. (see video and images). I used a heat gun and it shrinks up real nice, doesn't burn or curl up. This is 3/4" diameter shrink wrap and I was really surprised that it shrank all the way down to 1/4". Highly recommended. I purchased this heat shrinking tubing because I wanted to repair the fiberglass handle on a shovel that was worn and shedding fiberglass into the skin in the palms of my hand. This tubing worked fantastically, not only fixed the problem but added years to the usage of my shovel.

This just added more life to my fiberglass shovel, rather than having to go out and buy a new shovel. I was able to wrap the fiberglass handle and get many more years out of my shovel. Very easy to use and take your time and use a heat gun.

This size has soooo many uses for around a camper and or a DIY project! I used mine to seal up the 7-way trailer plug end that had seams to let moisture in...people commented that they didn't know it came in that large of a size...it's great!!
