I use this all the time. You can't hold onto a super hot curling iron by the barrel, but why would you ever need or want to do that anyway? I've burned myself badly before just from a quick touch, and this definitely has protected me from burns. I think I've cut it close a few times, bc there are a couple of brown burn marks on it, but better the glove than me! Great value. Keep it away from Velcro if you have Velcro cord strap on your iron, because it will snag.

Didn't work too well with my curling wand . My hand still feels hot enough where I can't curl my hair

I am a hair stylist. I style hair on a lot of weddings. I primarily use my wand for curling and go through a lot of heat gloves. I purchased a few for my styling kit off amazon. I purchased this glove in hot pink. It immediately showed burn signs on the fabric, and the fabric itself began to rip resulting in several large holes which renders this glove useless. I don't recommend this product at all.

Please note it's just one glove. Watch what you read , it's not gloves as the description implies. Too $$ for just one glove IMO.

This are not heat proof. They are good for exfoliating but not for using with curling or flat iron.

I thought there were 2 in the package. Satisfied other than that.

I'm grateful for these because they really do protect hand from heat though the little stringy things (in fabric) get caught on my hot roller brush.

Title says gloveS and for the price I thought I was getting a pair. Also the decription stated I would get 2 hair accessories and I only got one.
