Yes, the 5 inch is fantstic. Didn't have many reviews when I bought it, but I love it. You can definitly tell the difference between the turbo and fine sanding modes. Dust collection is great. AND you can use all the other 5inch 8 hole pads you may have for your other sanders, which you would still need because of the size and long handle of this sander, you may want a "palm" orbital sander for tighter spaces
