Worth a buy. A few notes though...
Ordered the appropriate model/version of this product for a 1996 Ford Explorer. Installation was straight forward and required about 30-60 minutes to complete. Before installation I noticed small ridges left behind by what I assume is the injection molding process. These slight protrusions of plastic were on the window side of the track and I buffed them out with some fine grit sandpaper to allow for greater sealing when the window slides into the track against the vent shades. I have been having trouble getting my windows to close properly which caused excessive wind/road noise during highway travel. My solution was to get wood slats about 1/4 thick and wedge them into the window tracks along side this product to stretch out the track. I left the slats in place for a few days and raised the windows to pin the slats in position. This fixed the issue and my windows now ride into the tracks all the way. There's still the noise caused by wind whipping past the window shade itself but that's the trade off I've made for being able to crack my windows in the summer and still be able to smoke when it's raining and not have water get inside my vehicle. This product is worth a buy. You will hear wind noise from the vent shades as you drive closer to highway speeds and may need to get creative to get your window track wide enough to accommodate the window and this product. If you want to avoid any hassle with the track - perhaps the glue on exterior vent shades are a better fit for you but they have their own drawbacks I'm sure. This product was exactly as described and is quite sturdy. I can't knock off any stars so it's 5/5. Any issues I've had were for me to resolve and I did just that.

Installed on all four windows in twenty five minutes!
Really impressed with these. When I first got the window deflectors was not sure they would stay in place, the adhesive strip looked too thin compared to ones I installed on a 02 E150, but those adhered to the outside of the window frame where these are mounted to the inside of the window track. A little difficult to clean the mounting surface but hey it’s a 17yr old vehicle, just used extra scouring pad and alcohol wipes. TEST FIT before you remove the protective film from the adhesive, it’s a little tricky to insert and you don’t want to mess up the adhesive. After installing I put the windows up and left them alone for 24 hrs. Tried pulling on them to see if they would hold up in a wind and they were rock solid. Highly recommend.

Watch out for the description
The Amazon description was false. The detailed description said it was external mounting....WRONG, it an in channel mounting. I was replacing in channel shields that cause my windows to bind and one electric regulator fail.

EASY to install
IF you open the package and read the enclosed directions you can have these properly installed in 15 minutes. They give the vehicle a "polished" look. When you have as much rain and 90 to 100 degree days as where I live these really are a must have. They allow you to vent the vehicle and my guess would be that with these installed and the windows vented well that the interior temperature will be at least 30+ degrees cooler. Per the directions the windows are to be left up for 24 hours so the adhesive on the tape sets well so allow time for this. They look great and perform great. The ones I received had come loose inside the vacuum pack and got a little scratched up but they don't show up too much so it is no big deal to me but that is why I only gave them a 4 Star.

Vital in Florida will all of the humidity and rain.
These were easy to install on my 2000 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer edition and took no longer than 20 minutes to install. Just be sure to get the tab on the front visors outside of the window channel and between the frame and the mirror cover instead. If the tab is in the channel itself, the window will rub on the tab and not close all the way. They also make the truck look sleeker in my opinion.

Cheap.
They are in-channel ventshades, The package was damaged, there were scuff marks on the shades themselves. The front 2 ventshades always catch on my window when I'm rolling them up so I have to push them out to make room for the window to close. You could imagine that is a pain, especially when your on the freeway trying to close your windows. You can also see ripples in the plastic because they were cheaply made. But you get what you pay for. So all-in-all, I'm not satisfied

They didn't want to stick in the front windows.
They didn't stick well in the front windows where they end. Ended up using some E3000 glue to get them to hold. Back windows were great.

Lasted a few months...
Installed pretty easy. Followed instructions to the letter. A few months later the adhesive started failing. One vent fell off and cracked making it useless. Will buy a different one to replace this set.
