We’ve been on a bit of an eco-drive, moving to solar power and rechargeable batteries and also looking to buy less plastic and more sustainable products. Over the last few months we’ve bought bamboo cotton buds, toothbrushes, cutting boards and a cheese board. So, when we were running out of our existing sponges I looked to see if there were more sustainable equivalents and found these. I thought these were good value, at £10 for six sponges, and they arrive flat in a small packet. To use them, you just soak them in warm water for a few seconds and they expand to their usual size. In terms of cleaning, they do a good job in removing food and are are as good as our old ones - but they’re biodegradable so there’s no waste to go into landfill and bamboo is a sustainable / replaceable crop.

Great product. Does exactly as advertised. Long lasting however needs to be soaked for a few hours in warm water before use to make more supple. Unfortunately not good for washing wine glasses as to unyielding. Using in the bathroom as well. Best buy of the year so far

They don't look particulalry promising on first appearance but they are a natural undyed product. They do need to be soaked (follow the instructions) - once hydrated they are brilliant scourers. They have an open coarse structure that is much less easily clogged than typical green scourers and so work far better. They also rinse out well for the same reason. I am not sure whether this is advised by the manufacturers - but they also survive my dishwasher very well and come out really clean and refreshed. I just make sure that i put them at the top of the washer with the little cord carefully wound round something to stop them falling into the spinners.

I do appreciate they are organic and eco friendly, but I dont find them fit for purpose. Very hard and not flexible at all. Cant even clean the cups or cutlery. Find it useless to be honest.Update:At first I gave 2 star.So I took another sponge out of the pack, and it was much softer, thiner and flexible. If they were all the same quality in the pack would have given 4 stars.

My husband and I have been endeavoring to reduce our footprint and these sponges are one of the steps we took to get to that point. A more sustainable option than some with less waste, I like that they come in cardboard and that the entire thing can be composted if that’s an option. We have compost pickup once a week and I am thrilled that when the time comes, I won’t be throwing these in the trash.They seem to clean pretty well so far. They haven’t scratched anything and have been effective at cleaning in the kitchen, so I may start using them in other parts of the house soon. I highly recommend.

bought these super excited as i read such great reviews. you can imagine the disappointment when it arrived and the sponge simply didnt bend or slide to wash. trying to wash the baby bottles, the cups, the mugs... anything that required flexibility and sliding was a nightmare! not only that used three times more soap as it simply wasnt generating enough 'bubbles', and washing up - which is already not a pleasant action when you have a full and busy house with kids, toddlers and babies, become a nightmares of hours and hours... ended up using the dishwasher for majority of the utensils, but had to suffer w the baby bottles.very disappointed and feel quite let down i have to say... wouldnt recommend at all!

These are about as much use as house brick but with non of the advantages that washing up with a house brick brings.They are far too ridged to get into corners or use on delicate glasswear such a wine glasses. Having said that they are very good for cleaning large items such as pans, baking trays etcOverall I was very disappointed.

I've wanted something more eco-friendly and still with a lot of scrubbing power and am so happy with these. Comes in a pack of 6, in a fully-eco packaging.They appear really flat, but you drop them in your wash bowl of water and wait like 5-10mins and they pump up. They are flexible enough to really get into corners and edges (like the inside of coffee cups), textured enough for scrubbing power and not so harsh to damage items that can't take anything too abrasive.Love these! Will definitely be buying them again

Si nunca los has usado, al principio resultan duros y difíciles de manejar, pero con paciencia y el manejo te haces a ellos. Limpian bien y duran mucho.

Deuxième commandes pour ces éponges , produit économique, la précédente commande de 6 éponges faite il y a un an. Ces éponges me servent essentiellement pour faire la vaisselle , elles ne sont en aucun cas absorbantes . J'aime le coté économique, recyclable ( ce sont des légumes ) , hygiénique ,pas de problème de mauvaises odeurs , peut passer au lave vaisselle et machine à laver , chose que je n'ai jamais faite, je les jette quand il n'y a plus beaucoup de fibres.Elles ne sont pas facile à essorer , en les dédoublant cette tache devient beaucoup plus facile .

Der Schwamm hat eine enorme Quellfähigkeit und putzt das Geschirr genauso gründlich wie Vertreter der Plastikindustrie. Die Langlebigkeit kann ich noch nicht beurteilen. Eventuell ist das Handling anfangs etwas ungewöhnlich, da der Schwamm etwas starr an den Kanten ist. Das kann sich jedoch in der Anwendungsdauer noch ändern. Ich bin froh, eine umweltverträgliche Alternative gefunden zu haben!

Es una graduación para cuidar el medio ambiente, pero a mí no me terminan de convencer, ya que a pesar de estar mojados y tener varios usos, son bastante duros y muy poco flexibles, lo que hace que la limpieza ser algo más incómoda sobre todo en vasos. Creo que la idea es genial pero deberían de mejorar eso

essendo di fibra naturale (loofah plant o ' luffa' in italiano : appartiene alla stessa famiglia delle zucchine, zucche etc.. ) sono 100% biodegradabili ed ecologiche, e si smaltiscono poi nell'umido. Sono spugne vegetali usate sia per la cucina, come queste, che come spugne per il corpo. Io ho usato quelle per il corpo e devo dire che sono molto utili per fare lo scrub, essendo piuttosto ruvide , anche se poi con l'uso si ammorbidiscono.Queste per la cucina mi hanno un pò deluso perchè sono troppo rigide per riuscire a detergere con il sapone i piatti, e sono però troppo poco ruvide per usarle invece a mò di 'paglietta vegetale'.
