I’ve been driving semi cross country for about 18 months and I began to gain weight and lose all my gains from doing calisthenics. I stay out for two to three months at a time and so I needed to come up with a system to eat healthy and work out on the road. I was able to find solutions to every obstacle the road presented to my health, Iwatani butane stove, Dometic Tropicool cooler, Rtic65 cooler, Kuhn Rikon pressure cooking pan, competition kettle bells, exercise mat, jump rope but I needed to do pull ups and dips and the rings didn’t work for me. Is hard to believe how difficult it was to hang the rings at truck stops, no trees and even when there were trees it was hard to find one that would work.I searched online for portable pull up bars but having experience doing pull ups and dips I knew that the one or two stations that claimed to be portable would present stability issues, the ground needed to be level for them to work and that wasn’t going to be possible.Then I came across Pull-up and Dip and after watching the videos I knew it would work for me because the design addresses the stability issue that most stations present and it was truly portable, since telephone poles and tree trunks are readily available. I hesitated to make the purchase for about six months because of the price but after evaluating the matter carefully I knew it was a worth investment so I pulled the trigger and ordered it from Germany since at the time it wasn’t available on Amazon.I’ve had it now for almost 4 months and let me say this is a top notch piece of exercise equipment that will last for many many years. The workmanship is first class, from the design to the tig welds, every detail is flawless and most important it does its job perfectly. The design works flawlessly by providing a stable platform to be able to do numerous body weight exercises without worries. For anyone on the road, or anyone who travels a lot, maybe someone who is renting an apartment or living in a campus, anyone who doesn’t own a home and is lives on the go, there is nothing better in the market.The only negative thing I can say is that is heavy and you will need a top notch waxed canvas and leather bag to carry around but as far as the quality, workmanship and performance of Pull up and Dip no one even comes close.
