All of Cressi's fifty-year experience has gone into these fins, which are a modern revival of the successful principles of the rubber Rondine fins. As with other Cressi Fins, the Rondinella non-vented fin blade is positioned on top of the full-foot pocket for perfect blade alignment with your leg. The Rondinella utilizes a unique blade made of a very durable and lightweight, yet resilient polypropylene material that optimizes performance and blade stability. During molding a soft, flexible thermo-rubber (elastomer), foot pocket is coalesced with the blade to form-as-one with the blade. This same thermo-plastic is used for the fin frames and for some blade inserts. This material extends from the foot pocket through the blade, along the sides and fin tips. This mix makes the Rondinella fins, light and powerful: they are easy-to-use, not-too-demanding, and perform-generously at the same time. The Rondinella fins are perfect for snorkeling, free diving, and long swims. The computer-designed foot is enveloping and anatomical, making it easy to put them on and perfect for extended use. The fins are made in Italy.

Fit Comparison on Cressi fins
This review is based primarily on fit prior to using them for snorkeling. I tried the Cressi Rondinella, Agua and Palou Long Fin Adjustible. I wear women's Size 9 athletic shoes (8.5 dress shoe).Rondinella (blue) - Favorite! Most comfortable by far. Light weight. Flexible. Size 41/42. And, I think it's big enough to wear a water sock, if I want. I only wish it were available in pink (to easily identify mine vs my husbands). I like the full foot and feel more confident that it will stay put while snorkeling.Palou Long Fin Adjustible - Comfortable. I liked the idea of the adjustable, so I could opt in and out of water socks. The strap did feel secure enough that I don't think it would come off; although it was easy to get on and off. The foot part fit a little tight on top of the foot; which I think helped it from moving around. It was tight, but not uncomfortable. This definitely felt heavier than the Rondinella. I did like this one though.Agua - Size 39/40. Fit fine, but it did rub on the top of my toe near the cutout. The fin part was a harder plastic, so I was nervous about how durable it would be. This was definitely my least favorite.

Forgot I was even wearing them!
Let me start by saying I have very finicky feet. It's difficult for me to be comfortable in just about anything that goes on my feet, but the rubber boot on these flippers has just the right amount of stretch to be tight enough for good power transmission but flexible enough to conform to your foot. I agree with others, definitely get one size smaller than your "street shoes". Besides the boot, I loved the fin design. Activating them slowly uses very little energy for a longer breath hold, but when you need a burst of speed, they respond very well to more power. My wife and I used these on a trip to the Caribbean where we snorkeled about 2hrs per day. On our previous trip we both used the adjustable style flippers (US Diver) and they were fine, but it was only after using these that we could immediately see the benefit. In the adjustable, there is always a little bit of "play" in the toe box area, so you lose a bit of efficiency, not to mention extra rubbing and friction points, and the need to constantly readjust. With these Cressi's there is no movement of your foot relative to the boot, so no friction points, and great efficiency - at least for me (and my wife). make sure you buy from a buyer who allows returns in case you need to get a different size. Try them on wet and remember that salt water will make them feel even a tiny bit more loose than fresh (is this for real, or was it just my perception?). In any case, tighter is better, the rubber stretches.

Terrible product.
Unbelievable these things lasted literally two days a total of 40 minutes of snorkeling by my wife who weighs 125 pounds. Before they cracked and started to fall apart. I do not usually write reviews but this one I could not pass on doing one.

Received heavily pre-owned, dirty set of fins
I got my fins pre-owned a day before a trip. The worst part is that they were dirty. I really don't want to get a foot fungus from another person.

Good fit, great performance
Update:After another three weeks of daily snorkeling these fins are going strong. They go on effortlessly and are easy in the feet.I bought thee fins for my Honeymoon to Amalfi, Italy. I used them for a week straight with no issues. They fit perfectly, with no discomfort (i did wear neoprene socks to avoid a repeat of sores from the rubber rubbing on my feet tht i experienced with other fins). I glided effortlessly through the water whie snorkelling.

Size 14 shoe.
I wear a size 14 shoe. I ordered these because the description said men’s 13/14. This is not the case. A 47-48 is actually 12/13. A 49-50 is 13/14. They just barely fit in length. They are not tight but I don’t have a fat foot. I ware 3mm neoprene sock. They are great quality for travel fins. Light weight. They are transparent.

Fits my wide feet easily
I've been trying to find full foot fins for snorkeling, but have wide feet and haven't been having much luck. When I opened these, I looked at the foot pocket and thought "no way are my feet gonna fit in those". I tried them on anyways, and to my great surprise they fit! I didn't have to fight to get them on either, and I stood in them and flexed my foot several times to see if they would pop out of the foot pocket, but they didn't. I'm using them for an upcoming cruise, so I will try to update afterwards to give a review on how they worked in the water.

Frustrating to figure out size.
I'm really frustrated by Cressi sizing. This is the 4th fin I've tried. The 2.5-3.5 in this one is about a size to big, the Pluma in this size is huge. And the Clio in the smaller 1/2 is too small. For the record, my foot is 8.5L x 3.5W. Regular width.

Great fins
These are great fins at a great price. All you have to remember is that you have to order about one size smaller. We ordered a size 1/2 to fit my daughter who's a size 2.

Very comfortable, lightweight, a bit misleading size information
Great fins. Super comfortable, very light.Easily the most comfortable fins I've ever used.Only two minor issues: 1) The sizing information is quite misleading, even after reading some comment saying exactly this, I still have ordered a size which is one size too large for me. 2) There is not a lot of rubber mold on bottom of the fins, the part which steps on a ground. It is mostly plastic. As a result, if you ever walk on stones of some hard surface, even while in the water - the fins will take quite bit of damage. The good news - the damage is mostly cosmetic. Overall - great fins, highly recommend and would buy again.

Belle pinne!

Great fins
I ordered this item in April 2018 for a planned trip in June. It arrived quickly and other than a quick "test" for fit, didn't have a chance to use them until early June. They performed great for the snorkelling excursions I engaged in. Much has been asked about the fit and sizing. My foot is 8.5 to 9 (Canadian-US). Based on various reviews, I ordered the 7/8 - European 41/42 size and they fit well (snug but not tight). Oddly, I found the price when ordering by the North American size was more than double ordering by the European size. I ordered the European size! I did a lot of snorkelling with these fins and was definitely not disappointed with their performance. By the way, I would not have purchased them at the higher price ($125.00 Canadian) indicated for the North American sizing - simply not worth that!
