Stepbrother Charming: A Billionaire Bad Boy Romance

This book- it surprised me! I read a lot of stepbrother romances (It's the whole "forbidden romance" aspect, even though the protagonists are nearly always adults who did not know each other as kids...so it's not really taboo.), but this one had me book binging. I was only going to read one chapter before going to bed, and I ended up staying up all night to finish it in one sitting. How good was it? I'm gonna read it again! There was something about the male lead... I'm not sure if it's because he is not what I expected (he starts out the typical jerk, you know...), or if it's because he speaks as if he's not very well educated. It's rare for me to read a POV from a character who has horrible language skills-- who speaks a lot of slang and frequent, improper use of words-- where it's not a turn off. It's not like the author sucks-- the female lead's POVs are different and better articulated. The author just does a great job of making her character POVs really different. There's something charming to his "uneducated" speech and his intense, aggressive, alpha male-ness. This boy is so alpha, but it's so sexy. I think it's safe to say I like aggressive male leads. :) The female lead isn't exactly a simpering damsel in distress, which is refreshing. She's conflicted, of course, but she's not weak, or at least I didn't see her as weak. There are a ton of sex scenes. Hot, steamy, graphic sex scenes. At some point I sped through a few to continue on with the story... so if you like steam, this book will do it for you. The storyline was good- it takes an odd twist toward the end and I'm not sure I agree with the decision made, but it all works out in the end. I learned a new term, "babymaking fuckery" hah! Can't say I've heard that one before. Overall, I'm pleased with this book. While it may not be the best book I've ever read, it was a good read.

You know what I love about Nicole Snow? I love that she reaches deep into the psyche and is not scared to write about THAT guy. The one that we all hate to love. The man who is one step from neanderthal and so deliciously demanding and dirty that one can't help but to wish he was real. He is the crime boss, billionaire, assassin, and dirty biker; and we love them. Ty is one of those insufferable men. Claire, is the perfect good girl. Stepping into his world is unimaginable. She meets him by chance and he left a maddening impression. Enter the parents; not only is she thrust into his world; she is supposed to do it with a grin. All while he stands behind her and taunts her with everything she has ever wanted. If that's not bad enough, being in the bedroom next door does nothing to help either of them. Soon you see an entirely different facet to both h/h and it is unsettling, to say the least. Her new step-dad is not all he seems to be and Ty is a product of his childhood. Claire's mother has political office in her sites and is oblivious to the ever increasing tension in the house. The increasing emotion that grows between Ty and Claire is making the sexual aspect of their chemistry even more difficult to keep under control, and Ty is a master of controlling his domain. Claire is having trouble keeping her heart from this pirate and the pressure of her mom's campaign is not making it any easier for her to deal with the demands of her new stepbrother. There is sexy sexy taboo all over this dirty talking, no holds barred relationship. Is it love or just a summer fling?

Ok, this was a very interesting story, and I loved the storyline of this book. So why the three stars? Well I had a very hard time connecting with the characters which made it hard to get through some parts of this book. I have seen some people who absolutely adored this book, but there was something about Ty and Claire that I just couldn't connect with. We meet Claire as she's out on her last hurrah before starting to live life in the real world, and she has a chance encounter with the sexy club owner, but being the spit fire she is, she tells him off and prays to never see him again. Little does she know that Ty aka "Prince Charming" is her brand new step-brother. Ty is attracted to Claire and he's not sure how to handle these feelings he has for her being as though she's his new step-sister. Ty comes off as an ass a lot of the time in this book, and he makes some extremely bone headed moves which made me want to strangle him and slap him upside his head. Ty and Claire's story is definitely bumpy, but when things are good between them, I really enjoyed this book. They are perfect for one another. Nice to Mean, Sweet to Sour, Innocent to Not innocent what so ever. They offset each other beautifully. The problem is that it was hard to like either one of these characters for more than a few seconds. This story is a stand alone, and definitely has some hot hot hot scenes, and the ending is absolutely beautiful. This was the first book of this author's that I've read, and I will be reading more! If you're looking for a definite bad boy, and some hot sex scenes, this is a great story to pick up!

They are well satisfied but that is all they get, pleasure. Ty can't believe that someone actually told him NO, and that Claire is that person. The next day, Claire meets her mom and finds out that she is married to Gary. What the hell is happening and why didn't she tell her? When they go to Gary's house, she finds Ty standing there. Neither can believe that their parents are married and that makes then step-siblings. Can they stay away from each other or will they continue to be drawn to each other? There is a lot going on in this one and it will keep you glued to each page and you will not be able to put it down until the end. This story is filled with lust, a sexy Godlike alpha male, a shy, innocent female, pain and finally love. So sit back and enjoy the ride with Nicole Snow. So this is one of those novels where you either love it or hate it. I couldn't quite decide at first but as I continued reading it became obvious that I hated that I actually enjoyed the book. Ty is an obscenely crude, rude, playboy but finds his way and his purpose. Claire, angel that she is found the perfect bad boy. Gary and Amanda played an important role in the way Tyler and Claire grew up, their views on life and how things ended up. The whole storyline was interesting, kept me wanting to see what happens next even though I found myself wanting to slap Ty across the head on many occasions and heat some sense into Claire. Overall enjoyable, sex scenes were hot, the romance was good, the drama that played into everything was believable.

So, let me start off by saying that I was having the worst reading dry spell when I came across Nicole Snow's fantastic book. It was like taking a breath of fresh air after months, no, years underwater. It was addicting and consuming. I am completely new to the Stepbrother/taboo-esque genre. And now, thanks to Nicole Snow, I am completely addicted. Or at least to her writing. Her writing was intense, amazing, and SO, SO refreshing. I can see how some people wouldn't "get" her style, but I freaking loved it. Ty, by far, is one of my favorite book boyfriends of all time. He was a total bada** and completely delicious– a real a**hole/cocky ballbuster, which I adored. There was something so authentic and real about him and his love, devotion, and obsession over Claire was breathtaking. I also really liked Claire, as well. She was fun and very relatable and I really enjoyed her point of view. To be expected, some people complained and moaned– saying that he was "only 23" and "too mature" for his age. These people obviously suffer from narrow minds, which is sad. If you want idealism, tune into Lifetime. Oh. And here's a thought– Just relax and enjoy the awesome book. Overall, Stepbrother Charming was HOTTT . Like taking a big juicy bite out of a jalapeño hot. I went into this with little to no expectations and I'm so glad I did. It was a fantastic journey and an incredible ride and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a super flaming hot, fun read.

I really wanted to like this, but I just wasn't feeling it. I finished the book because I really hate leaving an unfinished book lying around, but I really want my time back. First of all, the language. Wow. I am no prude by any means, and I am all about a dirty, foul mouth, but there is a point where it becomes too much. To quote a blog post, obscenities should enhance, not detract, from the message you are sending. I felt there were more cuss words in the book than not and it started to distract me from the story line, which could have been good. All in all, the book was a little too cliche for me. I felt that I had read a lot of the story before. I am not sure that I will ever read a book from this author again.

Love this series. Always good to read a book with no cliffhanger just a really good story. i loved this book I laughed and grimaced along the way. Couldn't put it down. Nicole get on it waiting for another.

Well, this book couldn't be any more different to my last read, which was a sweet, sensual book. This one was bold, blunt, and pretty darn beautiful, in its own brash way! Claire meets Ty, one night at his club. He's a complete a**hole - he's upfront and in her face, and suggests that she makes a foursome with him and two club bimbos. She finds him infinitely attractive but is repulsed by his attitude. The next day, she meets her politician mother for lunch...only to meet her new media billionaire stepfather, at the same time. Shocked and off-kilter, she ends up at her new mansion home and bumps into her new stepbrother - yep, you've guessed it, Prince A**hole, himself! They clash, they argue, they spit words at one another. Told in dual POV, we know that Ty is fiercely obsessed with Claire. He's an MMA fighter and tries to deny his feelings by training until he drops and sleeping with another girl, but he just can't get her out of his system, especially as she's in the bedroom next door. Claire is still carrying her V-Card and is scared of how she feels. Even though she's seen some vulnerability in him, she still thinks he's a jerk. Once Ty forces Claire to confront their mutual lust, it sets them off on a rocky but fulfilling path of love, pitted by jealousy, disapproval and scandal, and tests their tenacity to stay the course. I found the whole book compelling reading! Ty might be the son of a millionaire but he talks like a street fighter. He's far from Prince Charming, really, with his candid, forthright, and downright indelicate, speech. Claire, `Little Miss Perfect', is shocked and affronted, at first, but ends up loving all that dirty talk! Their passion for one another was addictive reading, and I loved how once Ty realised he was in love with Claire, he was completely upfront about his feelings. Overall, a fab read in this step genre.

It was a quick read and I have a soft spot for stepbrother romances. I enjoyed the book. Lots of dirty talk I had to get used too.
