Black Baseball Bump Cap - Lightweight Safety hard hat head protection Cap (5 Pack)

This hat is way too hot to be wearing any place other than in the severe cold. Condensation builds up and next thing you know your hair is soaked. This summer I will be looking for a cooler bump cap. As for the protection it offers that is great. I get in and out of all kinds of vehicles all the time this has saved my head at least 3 times so far.

My husband is tall and is forever getting smacked in the head with something. Mowing the yard, he gets smacked by a tree limb. At work, he hits his head on a livestock gate. He's always got a bump or scratch on his head. I have long joked with him that I was going to make him start wearing a helmet. A couple weeks ago, he came home with a huge goose egg on head. At that point, I said "Someone should invent a helmet that looks like a ball cap so you aren't embarrassed to wear it."A quick look on Amazon found that someone had done just that. When it came in the mail, I put it on and had my 9 yr old hit me in the head with a metal spray can. Didn't feel a thing.This looks just like a ball cap. No one knows the difference. Hubby says it's comfortable to wear and doesn't fall off. It is hot though...good for winter, but I may have to do some re-design to make it cool enough for summer.

I would have given this 5 stars and perhaps it should be but for me (I have a rather large head) the brim isn't as wide as I like it to. I lift steel all day and was provided a generic bump cap that goofy looking and makes my head sweat a lot. It was quite stifling to work in. Luckily my job allows us to wear things like this hat for protection and it's a complete night and day difference in temperature.

This product does protect your head. The fit is not like a baseball cap. You have limited size adjustability with this hat. For me personally it slides on my head whenever I'm not in an upright position...the burdens of an odd shaped head.

I’m a handyman and I like to wear a baseball cap for my work. But the problem is that I’m always banging my head when I get in the shell of my truck or in my trailer. This helps. Ironically I’ve only hit my head once since wearing it so I guess it’s working. Lol

This is a head saver. I have lots of scrapes and scars on my bald head. Should have had this years ago. Didn’t know they made anything like this.
