Life's a Beach (Mini Book) (Charming Petite) Hardcover – January 31, 2013

I had bought this book at a shop in Hawaii and wished I bought more, so was thrilled when I found it on Amazon. It's a great little book for anyone who loves the beach. Each page is a single sentence about the beach, the sea, or waves, etc. from famous authors - a well-done, well-thought-out compilation. It's the written equivalent of my "happy place." This little book has a permanent place on my kitchen table. Every one of my beach-loving friends I've given this book to has loved it. Obviously, I highly recommend it.

A great little gift to give along with a card. Takes you away to the beach and a nice little something extra. Love the golden sand dollar on ribbon placeholder too.

Meaningful messages for those who love the ocean

Cover, illustrations and concept are cute. Flip flop charm included. However quotes are most often not "inspirational". One quote in particular is not appealing ("Surfing is very much like making love") for readers that are young teenage females. I was hoping to send this to a granddaughter who lives in Hawaii and sadly will not send.
