2 Pack - Treegator Junior Pro 15-Gallon Slow Release Watering Bag for Trees and Shrubs

As Easy As it Gets
This is a straightforward and useful product, and does exactly what it claims to. The red plug is super easy to open and close. It closes securely and doesn't leak. Fill it with any garden hose and it will slowly release the water over several hours via 2 small emitters in the bottom. That's it. That's what it does. It's a medium-heavy vinyl donut so treat it like that, it's not bulletproof or tear proof. It is certainly durable enough to handle being tugged and regularly repositioned over dirt, mulch, or other normal uses.Tip: Rotate the donut 1/4 turn each time you fill or move them. Take extra time to make sure the surface it sits on is level, or some water will remain inside. That wasn't a problem for me since we had some very windy days and the little remaining water helped keep the donut in place. This has been a game changer and time-saver for me and my crepe myrtles. I am completely satisfied with this purchase.

Treegators are a must if you don't want your newly planted trees to die
We just recently bought two of these because two trees we planted in September can't accommodate the traditional treegator bags. I'd probably say that I prefer the traditional bags because they hold a little more, you can zip them together and they're easier to fill. But we needed these donut kind. These are an absolute must for new trees. I can't speak to other brands - but we used treegator bags and left them out on the trees year round for 2 years, and they still look fine. Plant your trees in the fall and use these for two full growing seasons. Follow guidelines for whether you need one or more bags. Stop filling when the ground freezes and start watering when it unfreezes, Otherwise, fill once if not twice a week during summer. Once a week in spring and fall and maybe when it's still super cold you can get away with every other week. Your trees will thank you (and most likely live)Update: After a few months of using these I really have to say how disappointed I am in terms of how these do not drain. We can't use the bags because the trees we got recently branch out from the ground. But the bags are so much better. These don't seem to drain. Always seem to have a few gallons of water that isn't draining. That's really going to be a problem next summer.

Welcoming Relief for Drought Stricken Area
We purchased the 2-pack of these Junior Pros and they work amazingly well. Also purchased 2 of the Treegators for our young fruit trees. These work very, very well on a more level-type land vs. a slope. They still work on gradual slopes but the water cannot fully empty out vs. the original Treegators. We are still extremely happy with our purchase as these are being used as I write this review - a sigh of relief for this 2021 drought season in helping our shrubs, perennials and young trees. Thank you to the creators of the Treegators!

This is the coolest product
This is a great product. I purchased some last summer, but needed more this year. I use them to water my newly planted ornamental trees. We had an unusually hot summer and these watering bags were a life saver. They are easy to fill and sturdy. I fill them up once a week and my trees love the slow steady flow of water. In the fall, I will clean them and store for next year's needs. I highly recommend Treegator Junior Pro 15. They are excellent tree watering bags.

Bait and Switch!
Paid the extra money for TreeGator products because of their quality. What I received were regular, lesser quality watering rings that list for half the price. Be very careful buying from this listing and make sure you get what you pay for. Returning these.

Solved the hard to close problem!
I had problems closing the plug as did many others. I figured out a solution. Take a brick and put it under the gator, right under the plug. When you try to close the plug, you will be pushing down on a rigid surface. I also found that if instead of pushing down at the middle, it is easier to start at one point on the edge and working around the circumfrance. The brick also aids in filling. I put the hose in about a foot, then start the hose. The brick keeps the hole elevated and the water fills up the rest of the ring.

Perfect for multi-branch shrubs
Had a bunch of shrubs put in and too far from the house to keep schlepping the house out to them. So this made the whole process a twice a week affair instead of a daily watering with the hose affair. They've held up for the season - just putting them away for the fall now. Would recommend.
