FAST SETUP! Love this tent!
I bought the mid size truck model ending in 65 unstead of the model ending in 66 that said mid size tall which I believe is for the talker truck beds of the 2016+ Toyota Tacoma. I have a 2018 and the mid size one fit perfectly anyway and saved me around $80. I picked it up for under $100 and the other one mentioned was like $179.INSTALL TIPS: I watched several YouTube videos of people installing this tent. One of them mentioned putting on the corners of the tent where it meets the cab first, before the tailgate which is contrary to the directions. THIS IS THE BEST WAY TO DO IT AND SAVES A TON OF TIME FIDDLING AROUND getting it adjusted right. Leave all the straps a little loose until everything is looking good. The inside orange straps are key to getting it all perfect. I had no problem with zipping the door like some people.I love how this tent doesn’t have to be cleaned out since there is no floor. I can put it up in 10 minutes and take it down in even less time. It all packs into the carry bag with ease too!

Made our 4-week trip there and back again
We took a 4-week road trip from CO to OR and back, and this tent made camping so convenient!I got a strap and hook stuck between my truck bed and cab on the first try, and we tore the fabric about three inches from pulling the tent too tightly while setting up one day. Fortunately, the rip never got bigger and nothing else broke or tore. Definitely recommend reading the instructions and watching the video. It was so convenient to pull up to a campground and only need space for our truck; we could take the spots with uneven ground, and we stayed a few nights at wide-open spaces and actually moved the truck from place to place to get the perfect angle and lighting WITH the constructed tent already set up in the bed.By the end of the trip, we were experts at setting this up. We used the rain fly to keep out wind and downpours, and it never leaked. We also found an air mattress that fit perfectly inside, but we did have to inflate it inside the constructed tent, and we had to get an extension cord to reach the car.It was warmer than sleeping on the ground, but definitely still bring your sleeping bags and blanket layers; We froze the first few nights and it was mid-June.Overall, 10/10 tent. We can't wait for warmer weather to get back out on the road!

For a 2013 Nissan frontier crew cab short bed, read the instructions
For a 2013 Nissan frontier crew cab short bed, not too bad of a fit.I thought I would like to have a cool weather solution for camping when I don’t wanna take my big gas guzzling RV too far when I’m camping for just a few days .here is my assessment so far. Because I have a Nissan frontier crew cab short bed there weren’t very many options. Overall I think it fits pretty well but I can see a couple of potential issues if it isn’t treated right.Leave the straps loose until the tent poles are in place! It seems that the tent material is pretty tightly stretched down near the part that goes over the tailgate, no matter how I adjust the straps. You can see by the picture that the inner flap does not line up towards the back of the truck the way it supposed to.The other thing I noticed is that the tent pole that supports the front part of the tent seems to flare out from the truck bad. I guess that’s not really a problem per se. Anyway We’ll see how it works out.I May reinforce the seams down in the lower portion with my sewing machine. Will update after camping with it.

Great Idea poor quality
I purchased this tent from the bed of my Toyota Tacoma. The first time I set this up it took me over 2 hours. I will admit that it is partly my fault because I should've set it up at home before going camping. The poles gave me a very difficult time because it seem as is if they were a bit to long and wouldn't go into the corner holders. It was a very difficult task because I didn't want to rip the tent. Finally after much time the tent was up and now I had to tie it down to the under body of my truck. Well thank goodness I took come extra bungies because there was no way that the straps were going to be work because they weren't long enough to reach. I had to make some adjustments to all the straps and find a different way to tie down the tent. Now, I will say this is a great idea to camp in. It gets me off the ground and allows me to use the bed of my truck. I like that I have a lot of height in the tent, the rain cover kept out the rain and dampness and the best part the tent came down quickly. I liked that I was able to leave my tent unassembled in the bed of the truck so that at my next stop it would be easier to set up and it was. It took me 25 mins to set up the tent at my 2nd location. The tent poles still gave me a difficult time and I was afraid I was going to break the poles or rip the compartment the holes go in. One of my biggest other complaints is that the netting on the tent is very very thin. What happens if you accidentally rip it? How do you repair it. A heavier netting should have been used. I haven't decided if I am sending this unit back for credit. I spent a $179 dollars on this unit and for the quality not sure if it was worth it. I have till Aug.8th to decide if I want to return it.

Fits great
Bought this for use on a 2018 Nissan Frontier with 5ft bed. If you take the time to set it up correctly, it fits like a glove. Can be set up and taken down I'm less than 10 minutes. I purchased this one specifically because it doesn't have a floor. No need to worry about tracking dirt and grime into tent. Truck bed can be hosed out after any trip.

Does NOT fit Ford Maverick
The tent does NOT work with the Ford Maverick and it was not noted when I ordered it. Do NOT purchase this tent. I would definitely prefer a full refund for this tent for those reasons. It’s brand new but does not work do to the design of the tent. It is for trucks that have a separation between the cab and the bed itself, which Mavericks do NOT have plus the hooks are not compatible with the Maverick to cinch down the tent from blowing winds. DO NOT buy for your Maverick.

Lots of adventures
I’ve had this tent for as long as I’ve owned my truck. We’ve camped with it at least a dozen times. Still works great, goes up easy with a little practice, cozy!
