This tub spout with diverter has it all. I personally have never come across one of these that did not allow at least a few drops of water through the bottom spout, once the shower diverter is pulled up to change the water flow. This Danco spout allows absolutely NO water dripping once the spout has been pulled, and it stays that way for the entire duration of the shower. Unbelievably satisfying. I have not even heard of this being a possibility after reading many reviews and item documentations of tub spouts with diverters. They all say that even a brand new one out of the box will drip a little. Not this one. I may have a magically blessed spout, and no others ever produced will do what this one does, but I would rather think that you could get the same results if you purchase one. I highly recommend it. It was very easily installed, just used the supplied plumbers tape on pipe connections and installed in the reverse order that I removed the old one. There are plenty of tutorial videos if you need any additional guidance. It also automatically drops the spout diverter back down when water is turned off (which my old diverter would not do). Only downside for me, and it is totally my fault, is the length of the spout is just a few milliliters shorter that the one it was replacing. That causes a gap of about 3mm between the shower tile and the base of the spout. Haven't decided yet if I will silicone the gap - reviews and information make me hesitant. Still, overall, it's not a big deal. I Highly recommend this spout and would purchase one again.

Our bath faucet completely broke, but we didn’t want to buy a whole new set especially since we wanted to eventually replace our tub. This was a perfect solution and definitely got the job done. It’s not the highest quality, but was easy to install and is working great. Hopefully it lasts until we swap everything out.

Fits well on my bath

Was hoping to save a hefty plumber fee, however this product did not fit well on my pipe causing a nice water leak when shower was used on the floor below. had to call a plumber who replaced with a metal one. I am an amateur so I took that into account with my review...

I followed the instructions such as they were and also followed some tutorials online. Installing these should be easy and straightforward. Unfortunately, the screw that holds the adapter to the stub out doesn't extend enough to hold it securely, despite driving the screw as far as it would go. I installed the faucet, and it leaked out the back. When I went to unscrew it to try to fix the leaking, the whole assembly turned instead of the faucet, due to the screw not holding it secure. Not only did this make it hard to remove, it also damaged the stub out, scratching it. So now I'm headed to the hardware to get a higher quality replacement. Do yourself a favor and save yourself a pain in the neck and buy your faucet elsewhere. Update to say I got another faucet at ACE, and I had that one installed in less than 10 minutes with no hassle whatsoever. The few extra dollars I spent for a higher quality faucet was more than worth it for the savings in time and hassle.

I am very pleased with the build quality of the Danco (88703) Tub Spout with Diverter. The finish is fine and the fit is perfect. It was a nice surprise to see how well this diverter unit seals the spout 100% so that all the water heads up to the shower head when the diverter is engaged. No drips and no dribbles at all. My installation has the 4" threaded outlet pipe in the wall and this spout snugged up fine with that. The kit does include additional connection pieces to accommodate other installation configurations if needed. I would highly recommend this diverter spout without hesitation.

The product came quickly and was easy to install. I have only had it for a week but it seems well made and I expect it to last.

Parece de buena calidad pero cuando se levanta el perno para dirigir el agua hacia la regadera, no cierra al 100% y queda goteando. No lo recomiendo.

Ordered and came next day. Instructions clear and have many videos on you tube, very helpful. Easy to install but all the extra installations steps to avoid leaks were great. Comes with enough plumbers tape to get the job done. Addition of some sandpaper to clean the copper pipe would be good to complete the kit a to really make it an all in kit. Very good replacement, good quality and works as advertised.
