Maybelline Mineral Power Illuminator - Peach

I don't get the bad reviews of the Mineral Power Illuminator in Nude. I've tried LOTS of the mineral powders, even the really expensive ones, but I keep on coming back to this inexpensive version. Bought my first one some years ago on a clearance sale, and Amazon is now the only place left to find it. It will be a big bummer to me when they run out!I like a light makeup, so I typically use a oil-free BB or tinted moisturizer and then dust this Nude powder lightly all over my face for a smooth and non-shiny look. On weekends, I just use a moisturizer and then dust this on for a no-makeup look and ultra light coverage. Some have complained of a too-sparkly look, but I don't find it so for my skin type and color and I'm pretty light to medium.Note: be careful when ordering this as it does also come in PINK and I think Bronze... not my colors at all!

Good. It gives a little bit of color and some sparkle to the face. Nice if you want to look like you haven't much on (but the slight sparkles give it away.) If you want some color this is really not for you. It just really brightens the face and, since I am pretty fair-skinned, it works. A slightly dewey look which is very subtle. I haven't worn it over another blush but I may try that and see how it looks.

This product does exactly what it says but be careful because it is very sparkly and kinda of pinkish. I have fair skin and this was a cute touch when you want a little more color and a little sparkle. The small brush collects a lot of the powder so I recommend a different brush to use so you don't look like a wanna be "Edward Cullen" sparkle machine in the sun.

I was looking for a loose powder and I found this for a good price. At first when I ordered it I did not know it had little shimmer in it but when I received the product I loved how it gives the skin a healthy glow. I wouldn't say it was too shiny and it was just right but it would be nice without the shimmer too!

I never was into makeup, I'm only interested in foundation so lately I've started working on ways to make my skin look even better. I love love love this product. I read online that illuminators can really give your skin a youthful glow and it really does. I'm still 19 so I don't really need a youthful look but I really do love the way my skin shines and glows. It's very sexy. I like to apply it under my eyes and slightly on my cheekbones (so that it shows when I smile). I just love how fresh and flawless I look now with only just a primer, bb cream, and the illuminator :)

I chose this because I love makeup and experimenting! this is a nice neutral color, giving a hint of sparkle. Even for every day use this wouldn't be over-doing it. Love the little soft brush it came with,although I do use a larger brush to sweep over my cheeks. A little goes a long way, so this will last me a while.

At first I was disappointed that it was so light in color and glittery, but I have come to love it. It offers a natural looking glow without screaming I HAVE BLUSH ON MY FACE!!! I use it daily as a blush and even let my 4 year old daughter wear it sometimes. It's very gentle on the skin. But for myself I do have to apply what feels like a lot to see it at all, but it has good staying power. I use it on top of a loose foundation powder.

by far the best ...............................i mix it with the mineral powder by maybelline as well ,and man do i get compliments on this mix they say my face looks dewy "glowing" only if you don't put it on your face by itself mix it with maybelline or any other mineral make up youve got but that's how i alway's wore it by mixing it together to acheive this look. i stocked up because they no longer carry it in the stores. so i stocked up on 3 thanks amazon i will be ordering some more.

Have used this product for a couple of years, but cannot find it in the shops now. I use over a light bronzer instead of wearing proper foundation, gives a nice healthy glow.

Excellent powder with great coverage. The price is very reasonable as the powder is usually around £7 plus. Will definitely buy again
