Speedo Men's Uv Swim Shirt Short Sleeve Loose Fit Easy Tee

I got one in the winter to go to the Great Wolf Lodge (indoor family waterpark) because I didn't want to show off my ghost-like skin or pasta belly in February. But, in addition to being a cool fitting shirt, it acts as a slight insulation when chasing the kids around in and out of the various pools etc all day. And you don't have to keep taking off your shirt and putting in back on you just leave it on. Helpful when you're looking after little ones. It dries quickly out of the water too, so good at Six Flags, etc. Many dads there were wearing them. I got so much use out of the first one this summer that I just ordered another. One slight drawback is that they can get little pulls in the fabric with vigorous wear because it's a thin nylon. That is also good because it breathes nicely. It's not a surfing rash-guard although it is the style. If you wore this to surf the board would tear it up pretty quick. I'm extremely pleased with the product and it takes a lot of guesswork out of what to wear to the beach. Cotton never dries, linen gets to wrinkly, so, this is easy, utilitarian, and looks cool.

Perhaps "I Love It!" is a little overstating my feelings for this product, but it has been effective at preventing overexposure to the sun. Additionally, the price was very reasonable, it was comfortable (i.e. fit well) and after 10 uses, it exhibited no signs of wear. I can unreservedly recommend this product. Context: Effectiveness- I wore this shirt daily while snorkeling in the Caribbean (about 10 times over two weeks). After the first day or two I ceased putting SPF 50 sunblock on my back (excepting a small amount on the tops of my shoulders). My back may have browned slightly, but did not burn at all (I am light skinned and burn pretty easily). Size- I usually purchase an XL , and did so this time. I am somewhat large in the chest (5'10", 185 lbs) and prefer my shirts on the baggy side. I found the fit to be exactly what I expected, but next time I would order a Large instead. The XL seemed to become quite loose and baggy in the water. I plan on purchasing this or a similar product for my wife.

Update2020: 4 stars because the color is not as before. My son wanted the same shirt his dad got last year. My son got the "New Navy" and the picture looked similar to the one ordered the previous year. But, as you can see....the front shirt is Not the same color as the other one. Not even close. Instead of New Navy they should call it a Teal color or bluish green. Anyhoo my son, thankfully, likes the new color even though it isn't the same as his dad's. 2019 review : Got this for my husband. He says it is super comfy and protected him well. I ordered an XL and 2XL because we were in a time crunch. I'm glad I did because even though the XL fit...it was a little too clingy for him. He is 5'11 and about 270 lbs. He tried the 2 XL and it fits with a little extra room. I have already washed it twice and let it air dry, and it holds up well so far.

After seeing how well my kids like swim shirts (or the avoidance of needing so much sunscreen), I decided to give this shirt a try. This shirt did not disappoint. The form, fit, function, and look is exactly what I expected from the Speedo brand. I wear shirts in Large, and this Large fits well. It is also very soft and comfortable when dry, so it is good for lounging around before going to the beach or pool. Also, the shirt appears to have blocked the intense sun of the gulf coast from getting to my shoulders and back. The only downside of this shirt was that, after a very long time in the ocean water, it rubbed the sensitive skin in the chest area to the point of discomfort. My son has had similar issues with other brands of swim shirts. Cotton t-shirts work better for him. But I don't typically spend a lot of time in the water, so this shirt works for me due to the comfort, sun block, and quick drying time.

This is a wonderful rashguard if you are in the market for something that looks nice and will prevent you from crisping on those hot summer days. The fit is perfect---not too snug or revealing, but comfortable and quick drying. This shirt works well for causal wear, a day at the beach, or going to the water park. It might cost more but I feel it will last much longer than most and it has already withstood multiple washes and still looks new. I've been waiting to see if I get any of those nasty pulls in the fabric that many similar clothing items quickly succumb to and haven't yet encountered that problem so in my opinion this purchase was a win-win-win!

I wear size LG fitted t-shirts under a button-down, or XL printed t-shirts as I like them loose, so I was not sure what size to buy in this. I went with LG and it fits good in the chest and pits. First time I put it on, I thought it was a bit long in the torso and sleeves, but after swimming in it a couple times I can better appreciate why it's designed that way. This style is not supposed to be skin tight. It's loose, but does get a little clingy when wet. It dries fast in the sun, and does protect from sunburn as it says. It says hand wash. I put it in my HE washer, but let it air dry. So far, no problems.

I really like this shirt - the look and feel and fit. But I have to echo what other reviewers have mentioned here. The shirt picks up the tiniest stains soooo easily. "Well, why did you buy a white shirt then?" Is the natural response. And I hear that. But I have other white shirts that didn't stain like this one. Something with the fabric that it picks up everything and makes it permanent. And yes, the armpits. So, the upshot is that I don't wear it as much as I would otherwise. Something for you to consider...

Got this swim shirt as a gift and it has turned out to be my go to gear for the pool, beach, lake etc. it fits well and is not super heavy when wet which is a problem with many of my previous swim shirts. Overall great shirt and I highly recommend it.

Hab eigentlich nichts dran auszusetzen. Gute Qualität. Hab die Größe M bestellt, was meistens passt, aber dieses Shirt ist definitiv zu groß. Aber egal, es sitzt bequem und ich werd es im nächsten Wasserpark testen

This swimshirt fitted great on me (I got the xx large in black, which is the same t-shirt size I normally take) and it was comfortably loose fitting when dry. It adhered well to my body when I was in the pool (not baggy at all) but was thankfully also not skintight. Easy to take off over my head when I came out of the water. Got lots of family compliments on how well it looked on me (and, believe me, they can be brutally honest!). Very lightweight, provided good 50 UPF sunscreen protection, and I did not sweat a lot in it, even though it was in black. the sun was beating down, and the temperature was almost 90 degrees. Also somewhat slimming in appearance, due to its white piping. What more could you ask for in a swimsuit? I liked it so well I just ordered another in the same colour!
