I LOVED these bars in the past but today as I ...
I'm so upset. I LOVED these bars in the past but today as I was chewing I bit down and really hurt my tooth on this piece of plastic. It really takes a lot for me to leave a negative review but this is beyond disgusting.

My One Almond bliss bars from
I have been buying these almond bliss One bars since October from local stores. Love them so much I started ordering from Amazon with no problem. I have been super busy the past month plus and took note with my current box of 12 bars and possibly the box of 12 before that, that they just didn’t taste the same. They were not as good, but kept eating them because it’s what I had with me on the run and have loved them so much. I finally paid closer attention and noted again that they didn’t even look the same on the inside. So two days ago, I bought a 4 pack of almond bliss from a local grocery store to compare. In the attached picture, the top bar is what I’ve always gotten and loved. The bottom bar (still labeled as almond bliss) is what I received from Amazon. Very different look and taste. Not happy about that and not sure why that is. If they changed the bar, it isn’t for the better.

I got the gross, stale ones. Ymmv?
Like many reviewers have said, the bars are not the same as the ones we get from the gym despite identical wrapping! The Amazon ones are not the same color, not as soft inside, and harder on the outside. They don't taste as good either. They're either old or a bad batch. Many others have noticed this too... read the reviews. Very poor customer service! Sad!

Four Stars
Tastes pretty good for a protein bar... still tastes like what it is though. I’d give the taste 4 stars. But these bars are outrageously expensive. 25 dollars for a box? You could buy these at a grocery store one by one and it would cost roughly the same. A box is supposed to be cheaper, and amazon is supposed to have good deals. Not the case here. You’re better off just getting these at the store.

BUYER BEWARE - THEY GET OLD AND CRUMBLY
This is becoming an increasing issue, possibly because of the # of resellers. But especially with ALMOND BLISS and other "chocolate" covered bars from One, the chocolate casing becomes very old, fragile and basically disintegrates as you try to eat the bar. Really messy, and terrible. This is well before the expiration date (the one I ate today expires in May 2019). This used to be hit or miss, now it is common place. Disappointing but I wont buy these anymore.

YUM!
HANDS DOWN THE BEST PROTEIN BAR ON THE MARKET. These taste phenomenal - exactly like I'm eating cookie dough. These are by far the best flavor in my opinion but it's literally like eating a candy bar. I could probably eat the entire box in a day if I really wanted to!

Save your money. Sadly, they are horrible.
I love MOST One Bars but I wish I would’ve read the reviews before getting excited over the Gingerbread seasonal flavor. They are disgusting. My normal “go-to’s” are the Cinnamon Roll & Maple Donut, (Which are both fantastic), but these are horrible. I literally lit a match to $25.One Bars, you got this one wrong.

An Almond Joy with Protein
Oh wow. I'm always on the lookout for protein bars with whey protein (one of the best sources of protein), low sugar, low fat, and tolerable taste. I had previously tried the One Peanut Butter Pie bars, and it was great, so I looked them up on Amazon, noticed the Almond Bliss bars, and decided to give it a try, not exactly being sure of what the almond flavor would be.When I got them and tried one, I was blown away! They are essentially an Almond Joy bar with low sugar, a good amount of fiber, and 20g of high quality protein. They destroyed my "tolerable" threshold and I consider them some of the best protein bars I have tried. Now, to manage your expectations, these are not candy bars. Thus, they taste phenomenal when compared to other protein bars but, they are not exactly an Almond Joy. Also, they have sucralose, a sugar substitute, which is FDA approved, but some studies have questioned it, yet, there is no clear cut evidence that it is harmful. That being said, the Almond Bliss bars are pretty close to Almond Joy, they are some of the best tasting protein bars that have whey protein and low sugar that I have tried, and I highly recommend them!
