I received a two pack of the Polani solar lights. And promptly returned them. I do not return very many of my Amazon purchases.I have an eclectic collection of solar powered lights all over my desert backyard so I am pretty well versed in what works and what doesn’t.The solar panels on these units are very loosely fitted on these lights and will leak almost immediately at the first rain. One of my panels was not secured at all and rattled in its enclosure.The on off switch is on the top and that again will be problematic when it rains.The battery is not replaceable unless you are very mechanical. Removing the top to access the battery cage is difficult and will disconnect the soldered wires that lead to the bulb. The unit instructions do not address a battery change at all simply saying to discard at end of product life.It’s too bad because these are attractive lights and the globes and light bulbs appear well made. However, an outdated solar mechanism makes them a poor choice.The best current solar interface is a mason style threaded top that houses the solar panel with the on off switch underneath. Good rain protection and easy access to the battery compartment.

UPDATED REVIEW: OH GOSH I WANTED TO LOVE THESE SO MUCH BUT......SIGH......THEY LOOK GORGEOUS BUT THEY ARE NOT WELL MADE. AFTER ONLY ONE WEEK THE BULBS STARTED TO FILL WITH WATER. THESE ARE SUPPOSED TO BE OUTDOOR SOLAR LIGHTS RIGHT? SO THEY SHOULD UPHOLD IN RAIN. HOWEVER BOTH OF THE LANTERN BULBS FILLED WITH WATER AND ONE STOPPED WORKING AFTER ONLY A WEEK AND THEN JUST FELL APART, AS IN THE BULB PART. THE OTHER ONE IS ON THE WAY OUT TOO. I LEFT 2 STARS UP ONLY BECAUSE THEY ARE QUITE PRETTY BUT NOT FUNCTIONAL AS OUTDOOR LIGHTS. BOOHOOOO THEY ARE CRAPPY BUT PRETTY.These are far cuter in person than the photos. What a lovely colour blue and the decorations are so sweet. I am very pleased with these and I am sure you will be too, especially if you like whimsy and charming things . They have full big bulbs too so far brighter than I had anticipated. GREAT buy

These are more beautiful than I expected. In fact I ordered a second set for a gift which I kept.

Was so disappointed!Switch doesn’t work won’t stay lit.Shorts out ... flip the switch on it flickers and does. Not very bright and didn’t last but too late to returnDon’t buy

I have these on a shepherds hook outside. Very decorative, and bright.

It’s rusty with rain, they are pretty

These are so pretty and ornamental. They cast a warm, candle- like light un like most solar lamps. I have not had them long enough to attest to longevity or weatherproof ness , but I really love them so far.
