Good Variety of Sizes That Fit the need of my project well
These worked out very well for a project I did of replacing some old Nicad batteries with newer Lithium types that don't leak like the old ones. The variety of these AA battery holders makes it easy to complete such a project.

Good quality, perfect for electronic projects
Good set of AA battery holders for a wide variety of electronic projects. Batteries fit and are held securely. The wires are solid core and vinyl insulated. They appear to be well made and appear durable. About the only complaint that I have is that the contact resistance (resistance between contact and wire end) is about 0.15 Ohms on the positive end and can vary quite a bit on the negative end, from 0.35 to 1.5 ohms) due to the spring contact. With a dummy cell in place with a resistance of 0.05 ohms, the resistance from positive to negative wire was about 0.5 ohms for a single cell holder and 0.7 ohms for a 2 cell holder. That will add a little to the apparent internal resistance of the batteries. I'm not complaining. This is immaterial for most use cases and is expected at this price point.

Worked fine
I've only used one of the eight battery holders so far and it works fine. I do appreciate that the maker of these uses real copper connector wires--not the cheap coated iron wires a lot of manufacturers seem to be using nowadays. -=d=-

Worked great for a project I had.
I bought a Lionel train that had quit working. The speaker wires had come loose at the coupler and shorted out the control circuit board. I needed to solder new wires on the coupler but didn't have any schematics to tell me which was the positive or negative side of the speaker. I used one of the single battery holders to use an AA battery to determine polarity and it worked great. A couple of soldered wires and a new circuit board later and I have a working Lionel train set. I only needed one battery holder but this was more economical to purchase, and I figure my son and grand-kids will find uses for the rest.

Great collection at a good price!
I am constantly fixing or building small electronic gadgets and many suffer from battery holders that have experienced leaking batteries which have corroded and ruined their holders. This is a nice kit of various size holders that even have leads pre soldered. Good price, and AA’s stay in place really well.

I got tired of my Zigbee smoke detector chirping at 3:00 AM like a possessed cricket because its 9V battery gave up the ghost. Have you seen the price of 9V batteries lately? They’re priced like vintage wine. I decided to stage a coup. I took the 4 slot and the 2 slot and wired them in series to get 9V and wired it into the detector. The Results: Capacity: I’ve basically given my smoke detector a "long-range fuel tank." While my neighbors are swapping 9Vs every six months, mine is powered by a literal army of AAs. Aesthetics: It looks like my ceiling is growing a backpack. It’s "cyberpunk DIY." It’s "I know a guy who can get us off the grid." It’s a conversation starter, mostly starting with the conversation: "Is that safe?" (Yes, it’s just voltage, Mom, calm down). Value: This 8-pack is so cheap that I still have holders left over to power my toothbrush, my doorbell, and probably a small drone. Verdict: If you’re ready to stop paying the 9V tax and don't mind your smoke detector looking like it’s wearing a jetpack, this is the bundle for you.
