Spread it around my 2 acre pond that varies in depth from 6" to 12'. I've only used it for a couple of weeks but already can see the sandy bottom in places I couldn't before. I had already sprayed for algae and killed that so hopefully reducing the muck and using their 'phosphate eliminator' will keep my pond in better balance and looking good. Review: Works great in my seasonal pond - I will buy again! - My pond is dry all summer, fills to overflowing in rainy season by seasonal creek carrying runoff “nutrients” from uphill roads and properties, drowning the summer grasses which then start decaying, so it gets super mucky and foul until it dries up in early June. For first time this year I installed low power pump and filter to keep the water circulating, but it wasn’t enough to filter out enough of the nutrients so I tried tossing in these pellets as instructed, they worked amazingly well to clarify the water - I repeated every few weeks as the rains brought more “nutrients” and decaying continued.
