I don’t think so. Actually it is meant to be just for stainless steel. Just make sure just spread on the stainless part. Like for instance I use it in my non stick fry pan than is stainless steel on the round bottom in the outside. And so far works wonder I just dabbed it with a paper towel.Hope this help.
