As a cyclist, I thought that they were a super cute way to solve the thigh chaffing issue. However, they didn't quite cut it.I ordered these in medium and large because some of the reviews suggested that they ran a little large.I found that they run true to the measurements listed for each size. I didn't have any issues with ride up of the legs or falling down at the waist with the proper size (L). Slippage and rolling occurred when I wore the smaller sized garment.These lace bike shorts are extremely soft and comfortable, however they do not work under any kind of material that isn't already super slick (think satin, poly or other synthetic). These shorts grabbed onto the material of nearly every skirt and dress that I tried them with which caused the skirts to ride up my legs. If that's a look you like, then I say go ahead and go for these shorts. But for me, the price is too high to have these available for just the one skirt/dress in my closet that doesn't get stuck to the shorts. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ works well - possibly size down *by M***L on Reviewed in the United States on July 10, 2019* I am surprised that these work so well to protect from the dreaded thigh rub! I initially ordered a large (I am a 10/12) but found these stretched out a little after the initial wear and felt a bit loose. They also shifted around on my thigh and made me paranoid that I would not get the protection I was looking for. I decided to order a medium. That fit much better and they don't shift around at all. The lace is stretchy and comfortable and breathable. I'll continue to purchase these in the future as I am very pleased with them. ### ⭐⭐ Pilling after one wear *by S***S on Reviewed in the United States on June 8, 2020* I loved the fit of these shorts as soon as I put them on. They have the signature no bind waist band used for other hanky panky products. However, after just one day of light use, the lace has started to pull on the inner thighs. That is not acceptable for $40 underwear.
