I bought this based on the sales pitch and the price. It will record as promised in daylight. The color balance is so bad that the only use would be to simply produce an image. So it you want to catch your maid stealing silverware...buy it. But as an actual camera...it's crap. On top of that, the "infrared night vision" is a complete no go. After trying several times of following "then push this button next" I just gave up.

I have this camera and the quality of the video is good. The problem seems to be overheating, and I think it shuts itself down. I setup in my kitchen window to motion detect, get one or two videos then nothing. I very seriously doubt night vision works at all. Overall I wish I had read the reviews before I bought this. Now I have this camera that kind of works, but definitely doesn't and is now a trinket for the crap drawer. And I'm off to Home Depot to buy another dang camera.

The device itself is small enough to fit in a discrete place that it shouldn't be noticed and I suppose if it is than it will deter people from trying anything. It’s super easy to set up and work perfectly and the picture quality is really good. It's a great value.

Worked okay the first time then immediately gave black videos after the third time turning it in. It feels very cheap.

I received this camera as a Christmas gift. I purchased a SD card, charged it up and it didn't work. The camera powers up, then the red and blue LED's flash 9 times and it turns off. I've emailed the company on their email address listed in their included instructions. The supplier finally did respond after 1 week. The problem was the size of the memory. This camera will work with 32GB maximum. Any more and it won't function.
