Yes, unless something has changed since I was young. You use the paper wrapper, wrap it round your finger to make a sort of tube shape, and light it at its lowest edge and it will fly upwards like a hot air balloon.

Are these the soft ones?

These are not the soft ones, infact I think they are rubbish. I hoped to get the original ones but these are copies the tissue paper is all wrong. on the real ones you can do a partu trick with the tissue paper but these just burn. Very disappointed, I so wanted to show my Grand Children the trick.
