I've collected sterling silver jewelry for 51 years! I've gone through hundreds of polishing clothes without the desired effect. But, I busted my knuckles anyways! Then it was plain Crest toothpaste, which I've now learned can still scratch sterling silver, especially vintage pieces. My most recent vintage (1940's-1980's) purchases arrived heavily tarnished. My bracelet was almost black (I'd done 2 toothpaste cleanings before purchasing this cream), and although my necklace only had moderate tarnish, it looked dull and lifeless. I decided to try Wright's Silver Cream after consulting Chat-GBT & reading the reviews, and honestly? I'm amazed by the results! The before-and-after photos speak for themselves. The bracelet went from nearly black to bright, beautiful sterling silver. The necklace absolutely sparkles now, and the details in the silver are so much easier to see. It even made the purple amethyst stones appear more vibrant because the silver is so reflective. The cream was easy to use, didn't require a lot of scrubbing, and polished up beautifully with very little effort. As someone who has started collecting vintage sterling silver, this has become a permanent part of my jewelry care supplies. I only wish I'd found it 50 years sooner! This. Stuff. Freaking. Works. I bought this silver tray/platter at a garage sale with the intention of cleaning it up and displaying it somewhere. It sat in a cabinet hiding and unused for MONTHS before I finally bought this cleaner and it took maybe 5 minutes with very little effort and barely any scrubbing and looks amazing. Makes me mad I didn’t do this a long time ago. A little goes a long way so it will last forever I’m sure.

This is a great product. I had previously tried a more expensive silver cleaner called Herman's Simply Clean Collector's Silver Polish which was 50% more expensive. That product took a lot of rubbing (one small sterling silver spoon took about an hour of very hard rubbing to get the tarnish off). I tried this Wright's after reading some reviews and used makeup cotton rounds (instead of the included sponge) which was very easy to use and took tons of tarnish off (based on how dark the cotton rounds became) and about 2-3 minutes of easy rubbing for a spoon leaving a great silver finish. I also want to mention, reading one-star reviews for this silver cream, a lot of reviewers are complaining that the paste contents are "used" and "only half full". Mine also came with the contents about half full in the plastic jar but weighed a total of 9 and 5/8 oz (jar states it is 8 oz); also, the sponge had product wiped on it as if it was used, but I believe the jar they sent to me are NOT used, so I am happy with this product, and recommend it. It also has no troublesome smell as some silver/metal cleaning products do.

Made the mistake of having too many drinks and forgot to take off my rings before getting into a friends pool. Next day my two sterling silver rings were both affected, one badly, turned copper in places and black in others. The other turned a rainbow like hue in the backside and a little dark on some spots on the front. These two rings started out intentionally as oxidized look, and octopus tentacle and a Japanese hanya mask. I found this in another review on Amazon as being the best and saw the reviews and ratings so I ordered it. Arrived today and a quick simple application and rinse/polish dry with cloth and they are like brand new. Just a note to those with oxidized rings that have intentionally dark areas like eye sockets in skull rings, etc, don't run this deep into those areas as it would turn them shiny. I knew this so I only wiped on the outside areas. I so highly recommend this cream and it comes with both the sponge to apply and a soft cloth to wipe dry and/or polish. If you had something similar happen to one of your favorite pieces of silver jewelry don't cry! Just buy this and all will be well!!

This is my second time purchasing Wright’s Silver Cream, and I don’t see myself switching. Before finding this, I tried all the popular DIY methods, including soaking my silver in hot water with aluminum foil and baking soda. While those tricks are often recommended, they never gave me the results I was hoping for. This cream, on the other hand, works beautifully. It removes tarnish quickly with very little effort and brings back the shine without leaving my silver looking dull. A little goes a long way, so one jar lasts quite a while. If you’ve been relying on home remedies and still aren’t satisfied with the results, I’d highly recommend giving this a try. It has become my go-to silver cleaner, and that’s why I came back for a second purchase.

Used it on a very old medallion and it came completely clean and shiny. I could now see details that were buried under centuries of grime. A little goes a long way
