I ordered 0.5mm gold and they came today in good condition. I got them to wear as faux piercings to add a little more to my already pierced ears. I spread them gently with a pair of scissors slipped on my ear & pinched them shut a little bit so they stay put. They are perfect so far, I will update if they tarnish quickly.

This type of jewelry in general is tricky as it's basically a jump ring that once opened and put in your ear, has to be carefully lined back up without overlapping or having a gap where hair clothing etc can get caught in. I sometimes make jewelry so I'm familiar with how it works, but if you're not, I would recommend that you have some one else help to put your earring in. These are listed as gold filled which should last for years without flaking or rubbing off as it's something like 100 times more gold compared with a gold plated piece of jewelry. I'll edit my review if the gold does not last. I think these are definitely worth a try, just have some patience. If you like to change piercings frequently, than this may not be the best earring for you.

I can’t used this on my nose because the metal inflamed my skin. Will use in my ears.

I got the 5mm intending it to fit in my upper cartilage piercings, they didn’t fit. I managed to get them into my second lobe piercings but they can’t close all the way. The only thing a 5mm might be good for would be maybe a third lobe piercing or a forward helix.That being said, the quality of these are very good. I’m highly allergic to nickel and have sensitivities to other metals, and these earrings are not causing me any sort of discomfort. They are bright silver, very pretty and dainty. I will reorder in the 6mm size for my other piercings.

I wanted a hoop for the top of my ear and these were difficult to say the least to put in and I took them out because they tarnished on me like the next day and it just looked like a black wire instead of silver. I'm covered in sterling silver jewelry so I'm not sure what happened

PERFECT!! Just what I wanted!The only reason my ear looks irritated was because of messing with it while trying to put it in my ear. Other then that, they are amazing!! I have one of the hoops in my middle ear piercing and it’s perfect! Great quality and perfect size! Great buy!UPDATE: The swelling on my ear went down after about a week. These hoops are still amazing and perfect for 24/7 wear. Thanks again for a great buy!
