I used this to create an AC vent in an outside wall for a portable AC unit. The AC hose is 6" diameter, not a typical 4" hose. So I used stove pipe. This worked well for the project. However, I noticed 2 issues that may arise. (1) The seam of the tubing (not true pipe) is pressed together, not soldered, glued, or welded. If, for whatever reason, you squeeze it too hard, the seam will pop open. Call me, I'll tack it for you,.cuz getting it to stay is a pain. (2) The wall thickness is NOT .10". That's almost 1/8 inch thick. It's closer to 20 ga, maybe 22. It's thin enough to cut you if you aren't paying attention. Other than that, it'll do the trick.

Great product and 1/3 the price of anything locally I could find. Pretty too!

I needed a short section approximately 5” of 6” stainless steel stove duct to replace a corroded section on my boiler. This was the shortest piece I could find on Amazon so used a Zip disk to cut it to my required length and it worked out great.
