Maybe I finally found a solution. I (M50) have this weird thing where I develop Uric acid kidney stones. The pills to dissolve those don't work for me due to heat burn. I have it kind of under control with Crystal light drinks. I just have to keep my urine sour. Anyways... This does not work 100% and once or twice a year I am passing a stone and almost always it creates a UTI. Or even a prostate infection. I have to go to an urgent care or a urologist and they always got through the same tests. Its always a new doctor. Last time I was even resistant to the antibiotic. I have taken so many antibiotics in the last 10 years that this can not be good. I discovered D-Manose a few month ago and thought why not try. I had a small UTI in Feb and it went away... Was not sure if I imagined that. Last week I had a major one though. Urine was cloudy as usual when I get those, I felt the usual hot and cold. I took D-Manose again 3 in the morning, 3 in the afternoon and 3 in the evening. The UTI did not get worse. The cloudiness went away. I was skeptical but after 5 days it seemed completely gone. That has never happened before. I will continue to monitor this. But if the next time I pass a stone and it goes away then I call this stuff a miracle. No doctor has ever recommended this but pumped me full of antibiotics again and again.

This is working well for me. For a short while I had been getting frequent UTI's. Read somewhere that this was a good supplement to keep them from recurring. It seems to do the job because I haven't had a single UTI in at least 6 months since beginning these. These also seem to be the best cost for the amount you get and take. I only take one in the morning and one in the evening even though it calls for more on the "directions". I figure that as long as it's working, less is better and then you don't use them up as quickly either.

Great deal on this product. I have been buying D-Mannose for my mother a few years now. It actually works for preventing UTI's. For 120 capsules and the fact that it is 1500milligrams per capsule and the price I paid through Amazon; very good deal!!!

First the price is better than many I've tried. Im a long term user of dmannose. I've tried many brands. Second, the efficacy of other brands has worn off. I've read that if one brand doesn't work, try another. Also, this brand is 15 MG, not 13 or 1000mg.
