I have a simple dell work lap top and I could probably fit 3-4 in it, larger lap tops, probably two, I usually carry my lap top and charging cables, external hard drive (20,000mah so a big one) my 2 phones, Nintendo switch with case and 2 sets of ear phones, and that would fill it enough to still have room for snacks and a bottle of water, hope that helps! I use mine daily, still no faults and the zipper lock is a nice touch, I haven't used the side charging ports but once and they worked fine as well.

Can this bag go through airport security without removing laptop?

Nowadays everyone must take out any laptop, iPad out of the backpack and put it in another tray to be checked.

Does this backpack have rfid protection?

Not that im aware of. It has internal cord for discreet charging of phone, laptop, etc. And it "locks"
