It helped me stay several steps ahead of my manipulative spouse and I won the battle for my children! It has stories and expectations and tons of info, out of 10 books I purchased I only recommend this one along with "Hit him where it hurt$"!

Organized in a useful, easy to read manner AND it gave the information I needed to prepare myself in court. The most useful parts of the book for me where the specific cases at the very beginning of the book. They painted a picture and gave me ideas about HOW to prove my case in court. That said, you also need a good lawyer who knows the LAWS and what judges in your area will consider when making a decision about awarding custody.You need to know the LAWS in your area and how the system works, but this book will assist you in helping your lawyer prepare and what information/tools may or may not be useful. Remember, the judge needs to back up his or her decision with evidence.

There were things in there I knew, but other things I did not know.. Good read, need to be very informed if you are going through a divorce and dealing with a battle for the kids.

This book has a great deal of helpful information for women who are going through a divorce with children. I think this book will help give me an advantage.

Ordered the wrong book

I found this book to be very helpful with some of my big questions about divorce and custody. The language and explanations were very user friendly. I'd recommend it to a friend.

bought this after the divorce was finalized because we will be going back over custody and even for that this book was very helpful but wished I'd bought it before!
