Sandisk in the original bubble packing is the only way I buy flash drives... They work well and are inexpensive. I trust the Sandisk brand and have been using them for decades!

This SanDisk Ultra USB 3.0 Flash Drive works exactly as you would expect it to. Transfers to and from the card seem to work quite quickly. The drive is about standard size, and like many others, has a slide button to slide the USB connector in and out. It also has a blue light that indicates readyness, and transfer activity. The drive is labeled in a way that makes it clear which side needs to be turned up for it to be inserted properly. (I hate drives that you have to try one way, and then the other, because you can't tell simply by looking at them which side should be turned up.) Finally, there is a molded, hole, in the curve at one end, to allow the drive to be carried on a key chain. The one negative I found, which is the reason this is a four-star and not a five-star review has to do with the software on the drive. There is an executable that I believe has to do with drive security. When I ran it, it recognized that there was an update for the program, downloaded the update, but then the update would not run. I paid full Amazon price for this flash drive. I wrote this review just to try to help others learn a little about it. I hope you found this review helpful. This is the perfect to make a windows recovery USB, the space, simple plug and use, quick and easy recovery or windows installation makes things so much better to do things yourself without having to bring your 5,000 dollar gaming PC to the shop to have them reinstall windows, the design is slim and super easy to use, it doesn't heat up and it's fast, I don't know I already said design and it's not letting me complete this check list for a review lol.. ah yes there it goes! Recommended USB, this is great!

This drive has lived in a truck console, gone through a wash cycle in a pants pocket, and been yanked out mid transfer more times than I want to admit. It still works. I have stopped being surprised by this. Real world performance is good rather than magical. Reads land near the advertised claim, writes are slower, which is normal for a drive in this class. For hauling installers, ISOs, and photo dumps, it is plenty. It is not the drive you want as a scratch disk for video editing, and nobody should expect that at this price. The retractable slider design is the best part. No cap to lose, which puts it ahead of maybe 70 percent of flash drives ever made. The slider has held its tension after years of use, which surprised me. One quirk: the plastic body means no lanyard hole with any real strength, and the slider can pop back when it catches on a pocket. Minor. Cheap, durable, dependable. Five stars for being the drive I never think about.

The packaging was original and properly sealed. The SanDisk Ultra 64GB USB 3.0 works perfectly. Transfer speed is very fast compared to normal USB 2.0 drives. I tested it with movies and large files, and it copies quickly without any lag. Build quality feels strong and durable. The design is simple and compact, easy to carry anywhere.
