This radiator and fan combo works!!
Bought this for my 500hp 406. As most people familure with Chevy 400's know they tend to run hot. With a 160° thermostat my engine never gets above 180° in 90° weather. Quality seems to great as well. Out performs stock cooling by far.

1700cfm is good 4 one fan not for both fans
Description shows 1700 C.F.M.Does not mention per fan or for both. Mislead the readers confidence. Per fan would be great but it's not its for both. Overhead my engine and considered a bad buy. As for the radiator welds and build looks good but it's the fans that maintain the trucks temp

Very disappointed
Very disappointed I bought it to put on my 400 small block and it is not keeping it cool ran it today and the temperature is at 248 had to turn it off for it to cool down . It is 70 degrees outside.The fans are very weak and barely pull any air through the radiator

Looks great
This is the first ever radiator ive bought that wasn't just a factory specific replacement so I didn't know much about what I was looking at when I bought it. I bought it because my big block car was having some issues staying cool (Which i think was the fan and a janky thermostat, not the radiator) but when I seen this I wanted it. Its bigger than the one in my car and it has the built in/attached fan shrouds which I think is a huge bonus to help direct air flow. Its an all aluminum welded construction not that cheap plastic tanks bonded to the core junk. The unit looks well built, no leaks from mine. Only slight modifications required to my factory mounting hardware. The bottom of the radiator sat perfectly on the stock radiator rubber tab things and the top nearly does but one of the tabs that attaches the shroud on the top prevents my top piece from being attached but thats simply a matter of a little notching and itll be right as rain.

Great craftsmanship
Radiator is good. Looks good and flows good. However the fans are weak. Need more fan cfm.
