Works perfectly as alternate to solar input for my MPPT solar charge controller in vehicle
I purchased the Daygreen 12V to 28V 20A 560W as an alternate to solar input for my 30A MPPT charge controller for in-vehicle use while driving with my portable setup. [Yes, there are other options, including dual input chargers that accept both solar and alternator input, or vanilla DC-DC chargers.] I opted to put MC4 (solar) connectors on its output for easy interchange with my portable solar panel set.Initial testing is as expected: it supplies sufficient power to max out the charge capacity of my Victron unit, which is 30A. It's rated at up to 95% efficiency per Daygreen specs, so when generating 426W with ~14V alternator input should be drawing around 32A from my alternator (not yet measured). If you try this, be sure that your alt supplies sufficient power, and use sufficient gauge copper to handle the current at the wire length you require. I used 8 AWG for the input, 10 AWG for the output. They spec 14 AWG for output, but I had this lying around and it fit the MC4 connectors well. The unit does get quite hot to the touch at this 76% of rated output (I haven't yet measured the case temp precisely), but I don't think it's quite egg-worthy. The brief manual mentioned "over 113F" as normal; high-temp shutdown is 185F. The terminals are M4, and it comes with (4) 8 AWG lugs and a spare fuse set.All in all, a nice, compact, solid unit that I hope will provide years of occasional service. Sure is nice to charge up a 100AHr LiFePO4 battery from close to fully depleted to full in just over 3 hours.

Works good for led strip lights
I used this converter for a set of 24v led light strip. Its a bit finicky and in my case required 10 gauge wire to ensure there wasn't too much resistance between the battery and the converter. Else it would cause the lights to flick on and off. Once I gave it what it wanted, it works great and am happy with the quality of it.

Does what it's supposed to do, powers my 24V LED strip lights in my campervan
Bought 2 of these for 2 zones of LED strip lights in my campervan. High density LEDs need 24V and my system is 12V. I run the lights every day for the past 9 months, no issues.

The power step up to 24volt
I want to do a small solar project at home ! I bought a solar kit from amazon not know the power inverter was a 24volt and the battery I pick are 12 volt so this step was a very quick way on fixing my problem and was very easy to setup ! Very well made it doesn’t even get hot

12vdc in 24vdc out, as promised
Like some sort of magic voyage wizard this little guy eats 12vdc and spits out 24vdc. I pull about 6 amps and it hardly gets warm. No fancy blinky lights, no knobs or dials to monkey with. It's as basic and foolproof as it can be. I will be buying a second one for another application I need it for.

Not what I expected...
Worked flawlessly for 4 days and died, no blown fuse or anything, opened up or failed internally, not what I expected after such great reviews, hoping to arrange for a replacement.
