This humidifier is quiet and delivers a cool mist at three different levels (Low, Medium, High). It operates from a small remote control pad with buttons or from the front panel. Pressing the Lighting button once cycles the LED lighting through several colors. Pressing the Lighting button a second time freezes the lighting at the color being cycled at that time. Pressing the Lighting button again turns the light off, allowing you to begin cycling through the lighting options again. The “Fog” button allows you to cycle through intensity of cool mist effusing from the Unit, between low, medium, and high. Pressing the “Sleep Mode” button turns off all lighting from the unit (including the front panel) while continuing to emit the mist while you sleep. I have not yet had the chance to clean the unit so will not comment on ease or difficulty of cleaning. I also have yet to use the timer mode on this unit. Again, this unit is very quiet and will not disturb nighttime sleep or a daytime nap. I am extremely satisfied with this purchase and product. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a really good humidifier that surpasses your standard big box store or pharmacy brands. Review: Very good output. - We use ours 24/7/365 and it keeps on going. One issue is that the humidity shut off gauge is not very accurate, so you can't set it to whatever humidity you want and forget it. That big of an issue to us, but it might be to others. The only other issue is that it does not emit much scent. They state that one should place a few drops of scent onto a cloth pad instead of directly into the reservoir. That system does not work well.

Good so far
Little machine is easy to use and refill. Used 2-3 months so far. Have hard water so scale builds up in the bottom and central mist chamber, but no noticable chalky dust emitted outside of the machine. Weekly cleaning with bottle brush (had to buy specific one for this) removes most buildup and small amount of pink mold that accumulates. I'm not sure what the flat filter with beads actually does.. It is difficult to put back together and would be annoying if beads spilled out while rinsing. Have kept this running 24/7 on highest humidity and output setting with lid open. Needs to be refilled about once a day. Placed in 400sf living room with vaulted ceiling (& forced air) so circulates throughout house. Could use a larger unit but chose this simple design over an evaporative type with wick that would need chemical additives to keep clean. Have noticed a bit less static in the house and less dryness when breathing. Fairly pleased.

Will never buy again
UPDATE: Nov 2020--I set up remaining one unit in the bedroom after being stored all summer, plugged it in and....it would not even turn on. So it went in the trash. That was pretty expensive for three units and a year later, we had to buy all new humidifiers AGAIN. Definitely would not waste my money on these again. Okay, I am changing my previous review. On 11-11-19 I bought three of these humidifiers. LOVED the large opening that made it much easier to clean than others I have had in the past. On 12-15-19 I had one unit that stopped working. It just kept reading 93% humidity, although another unit set up directly beside it, only had 54% humidity. Contacted the seller and they said to empty the unit and let it dry for a few days. I did and when I put it back together a week later, it worked fine. On 1-22-20 I cleaned the third unit, filled it and reset it. When I turned it on, it had a sort of high pitched vibrating noise in the motor. Unit is still working as of now, but noise has never gone away. Not sure how long that will last. Then on 2-11-20 I awoke to hear water splashing on wet carpet. When I turned on the light, the unit next to the bed was overflowing and had water all over the nightstand and running off onto the carpet. I shut it off, emptied it, and when I took the tank off, the float in the base was sticking straight up and was apparently not shutting the unit off. The vent that they always say DON'T let water get into this!, was overflowing with water since the float had not shut off the unit. Emptied the base after using paper towels to soak up as much excess water as I could. I cleaned the unit again and let it set for several days to dry out, but when I set it back up this morning (2-15-20), I can't get the unit to even turn on. At first I thought the remote needed a new battery, but when I tried to turn it on from the base itself, it still would not turn on. Unplugged the unit and plugged a nightlight into the socket to be sure a fuse wasn't blown--nightlight worked. It is the unit itself that has gone out. TOTALLY out. Yes, this IS the same unit that kept reading 93% humidity earlier. I am not messing with returning it or trying to get a refund. As much as I loved these humidifiers, I will NEVER buy another one again. Cheap junk made in China and it shows. From now on, it is Made in the USA for me. I guess I will just find a couple of those huge console humidifiers and put one upstairs and one downstairs. Would NOT recommend that anyone waste your money on one of these. I bought three and only one has worked as it should without any problems.

Great humidifier
I liked this humidifier so much that I now have bought four for my apartment and are actively using them all. I have a guitar that I am trying to keep a reasonable amount of humidified, and also dry skin that bothers me a lot in the winter if I don't use a humidifier, that is why I have so many. They are very easy to clean and fill and they put out a nice amount of mist. I have owned several other popular brands of humidifiers before and none of them were as good. It was either too much of an inconvenience to have to deal with the filters or they were hard to fill or their mist output wasn't that great.
