Chrome OS is perfect for web browsing.
Shipped fast and packed well no damage. Got this for my Mom. All she needed was to check e-mail, view her accounts and play some games. Starts up fast and works great. Just had to re-train my mom on some things and she loves it. I thought the key board was back lit but is not. But that's Ok.

So glad i bought this
I switched from a smaller chromebook to this one and was worried that it would be too big but i love the size now that i've gotten used to it. I also LOVE the touch screen. who would've thought?! i love the side key pad and i do both work and personal stuff on this laptop. I can do zoom meetings no problem and it is so sleek and the keypad is easy for me to type on. I've had it for 3 months now and I am sooooo happy

Camera does not work.
The camera, does not work. I could not understand the person(s) (I spoke with several) that were trying to help me. Since there are no replacements available at present we are stuck with a computer for virtual learning with no camera.

Perfect for elementary remote learning
This has been perfect for our kg and 2nd grader doing school remotely. We wanted a touch screen so our kg would get more practice writing by had on all these compute assignments. The large screen and different position options are great too.

Why I would recommend!
I don’t often write reviews but I am compelled to write one for this Lenovo Chromebook. I bought it for my sons distance learning and love it so much I’m buying a second one for myself. I recommend this for students of any grade, it’s straight forward and easy to use, the screen is bright and big, the volume is good, apps are easy to download.

broke... TWICE....
Bought in 2020... shortly after that it just stopped working... Had to go through the long... LOOOOONG process to send it in and have it repaired. They had no word when I would ever get it back so I ended up buying a similarly spec'd/priced HP chromebook. That one held up well until recently the touch pad started acting up. I was able to fix it but not sure how long it'll last. That's why i'm out spec'ing books again...Anyway... the Lenovo finally came back and I used it along with the HP, but a few months ago one hinge for the screen broke so I cannot open/close the book without fear that the screen will crack... I just leave it open and power it up/down each time - big pain. In short, the two small hinges - instead of the one long center hinge design - is a fatal flaw.Think i'm going to buy an acer with somewhat slower specs for about $170 from best buy... should meet my minimal needs without shelling out another $300+... we'll see....

Perfect for me!
I have a Windows laptop, but now that I'm retired, I wanted something simpler, and something with a larger screen for my Zoom Taiji classes. Not only do I use it for Zoom; it also has features for documents, spreadsheets, and slides. It prints easily to my wireless printer. The battery life is good. For me, it is perfect. I'm very happy that I bought it.

Freezes on occasion
Bought for third grader, used for virtual school. I know all computers freeze on occasion. This one does so about once per week. My Lenovo laptop doesn’t freeze nearly as often. Granted the laptop is considerably more expensive but still, this should not be a frequently recurring issue. I am glad we opted for a larger screen size since it’s intended use doesn’t include travel. We snagged this while on sale and now that we are used to the unfamiliar platform it is working well... when it isn’t freezing up on us
