This stuff works decently well for sealing up bigger gaps, and the bright white finish looks a lot cleaner than that ugly yellow foam most brands use. It definitely expands enough to fill substantial voids, and once it cures, it holds up well against weather and sun. That said, applying it can be a bit of a nightmare. The foam comes out fast and keeps expanding, so if you aren't super gentle with the trigger, you'll end up with a huge mess to trim back later. Also, like almost every spray foam can, the straw clogs up as soon as you take a breather—meaning if you don't use the whole can in one sitting, whatever is left is pretty much wasted. It gets the job done if you have a single large project ready to go, but the lack of control and zero reusability make it a bit frustrating to deal with.

Even with cap it did not work on later use

Bought this to fill in some gaps in our 200 year old home. Boy does this stuff expand!! We didn’t realize just how much it does so just know you don’t need as much as you think, we had to shave down the excess. We actually bought more as this is doing exactly what we needed it to do

It works great....if you get it on your hands or clothes it's very difficult to get off...Try and wash any excess as soon as you can!!!

Works well WHEN it works. the couple cans i have purchased that I can actually get flowing are great, the expanding foam expands a lot for huge gaps and it is really sturdy. I have had issues with insects actually like gnawing through other types of caulk or fillers but not this kind. Critters do NOT get through this stuff. WIth that being said, i think some cans can just be duds. I have had one that was brand new and i shook vigorously for probably 5 minutes and tried every which way to get the crap out of the can but it will not come out. When it works, it works great but when it doesn't its frustrating and a waste of money.

I purchased this Loctite foam in May and tried to use it today. I carefully followed the instructions: I shook the can for about 30 seconds, attached the trigger and heard the click, pulled the safety tab, and held the can upside down while pulling the trigger. However, nothing came out. The product is not expired, and I can clearly feel liquid inside the can when shaking it. Unfortunately, despite following the instructions correctly, the foam would not dispense at all. Very disappointing, especially since the product was purchased only a few months ago and was still within its expiration date. I expected it to work as described.

It’s a very good product for filling gaps. The foam settles down as some type of thermocol after drying. It can be used for split AC pipes holes in place of white cement. Also for gaps in windows and doors for keeping the insects out. But use the product carefully, as it expands after few minutes. You might end up wasting some of it while trying to fill the entire gap/hole with the foam. It’s better to put small quantity of foam in the gap/hole and let it expand. Then use it again if required. Be very very careful while using it. Use gloves. And Avoid it sticking to anywhere on the body, specially hairs on the head, facial hairs, hands and legs. It’s very difficult to remove after, might have to cut hairs too. And it's good if you use the entire Can in one go. Saving it for later is little difficult, as the nozzle and its discharge pipe gets clogged.

Foam is denser than Lepage or great stuff. Fixed a creaking vinyl bath tub installation.

It's a good DIY item for home purpose. However it's slightly difficult for the first times to operate. First about effectivess, quite good as it closes the gap quite well. I had 3 inch gaonin my ac vent which I got it closes using this. Working wise, its bit difficult as the handle pump wasn't working so I replaced the order with a new one. The second was working fine. Always follow the instruction and use the bottle upside down . The nozzle needs to be cleaned after use else it will block the way. Waterproofing is good as well.
