Review: Very pleasantly surprised! - I ordered this to recover the seat on my motorcycle and I absolutely love it so far. The material looks and feels great and even for someone like myself who is strictly a hobbyist with limited upholstery skills it's extremely easy to work with. It's shipped folded but after unfolding it and leaving it in the sun for a few minutes the fold creases were completely gone. The material stretches easily but a hair dryer or heat gun (used carefully) makes it much easier to stretch. I initially stretched it as tightly as possible and fastened it to the base of my seat without any adhesive and as few staples as possible and rode the bike for a few days to let the material conform to the seat. After that I removed the staples, sprayed the seat foam with 3m Super 90 spray adhesive, then reattached the material stretching it as tight as possible before stapling it to the base. When finished there were no wrinkles and the seat looked as good as if a professional had recovered it! I've only had it for a few weeks so I can't speak on the long term durability but I've put several miles on the bike in that time with zero wear showing. I feel sure that it will last quite a while as long as it's not abused. For a fraction of the cost of a professional job I have a seat that really looks and feels like new.

**Q: Does the pleather have any strech to it?**
A: Yes it does have a  little stretch

**Q: This looks more brown than black.Is it atrue black?**
A: It's a true black. Sometimes picture could be inaccurate due to lighting, but all our black faux are true black

**Q: What temperature should I use to iron it?**
A: do not apply high heat directly to the top. use a fabric in between the iron and the top color or iron from reverse side

**Q: Can i use headliner adhesive to stick this to a custom wood subwoofer box?**
A: Yes! I used it for a subwoofer enclosure.  Worked well with 3M adhesive and a 1/4 inch foam padding on top.

I bought this by the yard to cover a wood restoration project. This was the perfect replacement. Thicker than I expected but nothing bad about that. It has a nice backing and feels very real. I used contact cement to adhere it to the sanded wood trunk and it worked great. I can't speak to durability yet and honestly, my project will just be an inside decor piece, so it should last virtually forever. I ordered too much, but I am very glad I did because I can't wait to find something else to cover. As a side note, this is PU faux leather so it is also good for laser engraving, which I need to do on mine, so that is great. I would recommend for good quality, fast shipping, as described.
