Supplying Demand WB30X24111 Electric Range Dual 9 Inch Radiant Heating Element Replacement Model Specific Not Universal

Bought this for a GE profile glass cooktop from 2015. This looks identical to the one that was installed. The item arrived quickly and was packed well. My problem: The largest burner was staying on (on high), and the only way to shut it off was to flip the breaker in the electrical box. After removing the cooktop and taking it apart (this was fairly easy), I tested the switch mechanism for the large burner and everything inside the switch was working as designed (not fused together). The only thing I can think of is something related to the spring or the temp control rod that sits over the coil was at end of life. I ended up just replacing this large coil (which includes the switch), and now, everything functions perfectly. Don't be afraid to do this yourself as it is very easy and is a much better option than replacing the whole cooktop, especially since the newer cooktops have a much larger foot-print for the cutout which requires a LOT more work and mess, especially if you have granite/quartz/stone/tile etc.

Would have given it 5 stars, however it didn't center on the same spot as the original. It does work fine and it was not difficult ro install.

Doesn’t work well

I bought two of these. Both had same Amazon SKUs but different boxes. Both boxes are labelled as Supplying Demand but when opened, one burner labelled Heatwell. The Heatwell burner male pins were too wide for my stove and I had to widen the female connectors to work. I will update this review if anything happens.

Exact fit and very easy to install. After many years still holds up

With the help of this one I was able to change only one burner otherwise I have to buy a new one
