Didn't get me an Elk! Might have been my luck?
Pretty easy to use, according to the guys I hunted with it sounds pretty realistic. From hearing the real cows in the woods myself I couldn't tell any difference. At the time I went the bulls really weren't responding to the calls, but everyone says this is a staple call so I'm happy I have it. Hopefully next time it'll do the trick.

A real review of this product.
I've had this product on my wishlist for some time, and finally purchased it for use this fall. Of course, every time I went to the product page, I had to see the stupid, useless "parody" review. Hey, it's funny, but really Amazon do you really, really believe the prior reviewer purchased and used the product? As to the other review, I don't see anything saying it's for calling deer, it's an elk call. Any attempt at research would show this... Anyways, my review... The product is small enough to tuck easily under your outerwear, keeping silent and out of the way of a firearm or bow. When used per the directions, it sounds like an elk. Not the bugle of a bull, but the sound of cows keeping tabs on one another. I'm looking forward to using it come October.

Simple to use. Easy to learn.
While I don’t have real world experience using this call yet, it sounds realistic and the small available adjusts allow you to slightly modify the tone.

Easy to use
One of the easiest calls to use. Best used to stop the ELk as they are walking by. Hit the call and it will stop the Elk to look in your direction and give you the chance to make your shot.

Calling all Elk....
Bought as a gift for a hunting friend of mine as I am tired of him not getting any Elk. The quality is good and the product produces the sounds it is supposed to. I myself have the older model and love it, it is made with long wearing strong materials that with proper care can last a very long time. It can be used in any climate which makes it a winner for any Elk hunter....
