HTC One M9 Case, BUDDIBOX [HSeries] Heavy Duty Swivel Belt Clip Holster with Kickstand Maximal Protection Case for HTC One M9, (Orange)

The case mostly is comprised of the rubber housing that surrounds the phone. While decently rugged, it is not really comparable to an Otterbox for feeling solid or durable. I've only owned the case for a few days, and only time will tell whether the case can defend against bumps or drops.The greatest defect with this case has to do with the belt clip unit. The way the case has been designed, the belt clip half of the case "snaps" into place with a locking latch that clips into place directly above the phone's power button. As a result, the latch that holds the belt clip onto the phone fully depresses the power button on the phone and keeps it depressed as long as the phone is in the belt clip/cover.Unfortunately, that means the phone screen turns itself on and remains on at all times when the phone is inside the case. That is a complete battery killer and a terminal flaw in the industrial design of the case. It's also a deal-killer on this case, because I can't imagine a scenario where any typical user would want their battery to unnecessarily run down simply by using the case. I will be returning this purchase for a refund.

Pros:- Does a good job of protecting this phone. The phone feels MUCH safer and more secure in this case.- Case is DURABLE. I have no doubt that this case will withstand a fair amount of abuse, as it feels like it is solidly constructed.- Corrects a major headache of mine with the M9: power button location. Without this case, my left middle finger would frequently push the power button (located smack dab in the center of the right hand side of the phone for some stupid reason). This case covers the power button with a rubberized button which is surrounded by hard plastic which is almost flush with the button, which greatly reduces your chances of pressing the power button by accident.Cons:- Case was likely designed for people who wear the clip on the left side of their body (I can't because belt clips will damage themselves or my belt tail on the left side). When removing the phone from the case on my right hip, I have to rotate the phone 90 degrees counterclockwise in order for it to be right side up, rather than just taking it out of the case and placing it against my ear. Another explanation: removing the phone from your right hip will result in you holding the phone upside down, requiring you to turn it to answer a call.- There is no adjustment to fix the above, short of taking the belt clip apart, which would likely result in damage (a cheap glossed paper sticker covers the screw which holds the clip assembly together).Other thoughts:The rubber used could perhaps stand to be just a tiny bit stiffer, as a casual swipe of a finger across the screen can cause the rubber portions not also covered by the hard plastic part of the case to open a gap between case and phone. Not a big deal, but leaves me with concerns about the long term durability of this rubber, as well as how much dust and dirt is making it past the case.For the M9, don't bother with the cheap screen protector that is included. Instead, get a tempered glass screen protector, and just keep the included one in case you break the tempered one and need something in place while you order a replacement.Overall, a FANTASTIC case for the M9. Other reviews similarly state that this is one of the better case brands out there, and I would have to agree. Perhaps this manufacturer will listen and use a slightly harder rubber on future similar cases, and perhaps on phones with odd button placement they will further recess the buttons to reduce the chance of accidental presses.I recommend this case for the HTC ONE M9.

I've owned this case/holster for about two weeks now, It works well, absolutely fits the phone and seems to offer the protection I want. I have not yet dropped my phone while the case is on, so I'll update my post when that happens. The product is exactly as advertised on Amazon, and I'm completely pleased at this point. Shipping was fast and accurate. The product was well protected during shipping. The kickstand works perfectly and the case transfers motion to the buttons as you'd expect. I'd read other reviews that decry the range of motion for the belt clip; it will spin the case 90 degrees - why you'd want to spin it 180 degrees is beyond me. I'd encourage anyone who purchases an HTC One M9 and wants a solid case to try this one.

The case is multiple pieces kind of like a layering system of protection. It saved my phone countless times. Over time the plastic layer broke on both the case and the holster. I continued to use it after the case was compromised. Because of the broken corners of the holster piece the phone no longer sat in the holster securely and because of that one day I was running to class and my phone flew out of the holster and shattered the screen. I had it for I wanna say about a year before it started to break the case is cheap enough to just buy a new one but just don't try to use it after the plastic breaks. If replacing your case annually isn't your cup of tea you might want to consider a most expensive option.

Just got it today, and it's better than I expected. It fits on your phone just like an Otter case: a soft, rubber inner case and a hard, plastic outer case that goes over the rubber one. The rubber is particularly soft (though sturdy), which makes holding the phone and pressing the buttons comfortable. I'm particularly impressed by how well the rubber case fits over the M9's buttons; even though the buttons barely stick out on the phone, the Buddibox fits over them very nicely, as if the phone itself were manufactured like that.Not only is the kickstand perfect for hands-free viewing, it's sturdy, and it folds in flush with the case when you're not using it. It doesn't make your phone bulky. On top of everything, they throw in a little screen protector kit (i.e., protector, lint-free cloth, electrostatic strip). I'm glad I found this brand because I'll be buying their cases in the future.

For an Otterbox knock off, it isn't too bad. The kick stand is fairly sturdy and stands the phone at an appropriate angle for me to watch while typing at my desk. The only thing keeping me from giving it a 5 star review is the belt clip plate which has a poorly designed clip that won't stay on my bike messenger bag and seems a bit on flimsy side.Also the bonus screen protector goes on fairly easy, I'm never able to get all the bubbles out, but I won't blame the sheet as i've never gotten one one with all the bubbles out.

Girlfriend needed this for her new refurb phone and she likes the practicality of it. No complains for her, so no complains from me!

Great case. Has already saved my phone a few times

I've only had this case about a week now but it's a decent quality case. Nice grip, not likely to drop it. Not dropped phone yet so unsure on what protection it will give,but all gd so far in preventing me dropping it like my last phone!

It came quick but wasn't the quality I was hoping for, since ordering it I had to order a different type
