Great turntable!
Really cool player with AT needle, auto stop, and Bluetooth for the kids. The Built in pre amp is plenty loud with my powered speakers with RCA hookups. The player looks smart as well, unlike so many of the plastic models available. One thing some may dislike - no dust cover. I use the cloth bag that the turntable was packaged in. Haven't used headphone jack or Bluetooth, other than to see if they worked briefly. I bought this on sale during Prime Days and feel like I got an awesome deal.

Love it!! I am glad I bought it.
I really do love this machine. It is a great entry level turntable and when it is on sale it is hard to beat. I had "travel" turntable with built in speakers ($50 from Walmart) for years, the sound was absolute garbage, but this one really does a great job. With built in Bluetooth, you can connect it to nice headphones, or in my case, a sound bar and get nice quality sounds. The setup isn't as easy as other $150-$250 turntables, as you have to manually balance the weight, but it does open the door for some great upgrades that the others don't offer. It takes literally 5 minutes and then you are good to go. Also this one DOESN'T have a dust cover. I just bought an inexpensive cloth one and it works great. If you want a plastic one, they run around $50.

Affordable turntable perfect for playing old records
I really liked the fact that this is a good-looking, very affordable turntable. My old records from the 60s aren't really worth an expensive, super sensitive turntable because they have scratches from many hours of playing. So this is just about perfect. The bamboo and design also make it a very attractive turntable. We have it in the living room. A suggestion to House of Marley is to include better instructions to set up the turntable. It took me a long and frustrating time to get it working and I still cannot get a bluetooth connection. I finally hooked it up by wire which I didn't really want to do; don't need more wires all over the place. I had to resort to going to the internet and searching on my own for help. This would be such a good opportunity for House of Marley to help customers and make them happy recommenders. I think you will like the turntable but it will take you awhile to get there.

Just as bad as the matching speakers
I bought this turntable with the matching House of Marley wireless speakers. Granted, it all looks great sitting on the console. But it's functionally junk. The instructions are poor but better than those included with the speakers. Still, read them closely to figure out( most) of the operations. Also, the turntable does not have the features other turntables in this price range do. I would give more stars if those were the only issues. Every time I turned it on it was hit or miss if the volume button worked. And the 'included amplifier' never worked at all. This product is a solid miss.

Great Sound, Even Over BT - Keep Calm and Connect Easily
First off, this is easy to set up with fairly clear yet minimal instructions (just one sheet). Open the box-in-a-box-in-a-box, pull out the turntable, grab the platter, use one of the special holes in the platter to reach your finger through and separate the SMALL rubber belt stored AROUND the center of the underside of the platter. When you look underneath at first, you will initially notice what is on the INSIDE of the center, but you want the more diminutive elastic band on the outside of that center ring. Drop the platter on the base, pop that belt around the gold spindle, drop the mat on the turntable, and you are already 90% of the way there. The rest of the instructions for setting up the hardware are perfectly clear so I will move on to the Bluetooth setup. Bluetooth pairing is easier than I expected. Even when doing it the first time, I asked myself, "How is this going to work?" because I am used to having a readout that helps me verify the connection via a pairing code. The trick here is to make sure you only have ONE bluetooth receiver in pairing mode. Once you have the receiver / headphones set to pair, just turn on the turntable, press the BT button to turn it on, then press it once more to connect. That's it! Bluetooth audio, which is all I have used so far, sounds fantastic. I've paired with headphones and also with a nice, loud stereo receiver. Keep in mind your sound quality ceiling is determined by both the turntable AND by the receiving device. I love the aesthetic, the sound, the use of recycled materials, the ease of connection. We have a more complicated turntable / preamp / EQ / receiver setup in another room, and this is just TREMENDOUSLY more accessible. On our "higher end" turntable setup, I feel like I need to perform a ceremony every time I want to give something a listen; the House of Marley turntable will get so much more use, I will get to really enjoy our vinyl collection so much more, and I haven't even done the wired setup yet. Even when still digital-ish due to the BT connection, the sound quality blows away the streamers. So anyway, I obviously recommend this. And regarding the fabric dust cover, I dig it, and it's less visible plastic in the aesthetic. This is my third record player purchase in about 10 years and far, far and away the best of the three (and the middle price of the three).

It's awesome 👍
I'm so glad I purchased this, it's much better than another turntable I purchased. I think the preamp makes the difference. Definitely worth a look at.

Great turntable, good value
I finally got tired of having a totally manual turntable & dove back into the turntable market. I'm no audiophile & I do have budgetary restraints, so to get what I wanted at a price I could afford took some diligent research. The Marley unit stood out above the rest of the < $300 units. I was even able to get 1 with a bamboo deck - not bamboo-looking, real bamboo. The styling is minimalist & clean, but appealing. Set up was almost plug & play. There's a 3.5mm jack on the front so can plug an aux unit straight in. Or you can connect via Bluetooth. I've had issues with Bluetooth, so I plug in. There's a pre-amp on the unit. You'll need it 'on' when connecting directly with the unit. But you need to turn it 'off' if going thru an amp. Here's 1 of my 2 issues with the Marley, the pre-amp switch is mounted on the back of, & under, the unit. The other issue, the table just stops at the end of an album. You have to go & lift the arm yourself. The lift mech is smooth & even. It seems to work backwards, tho. I lift when I think I should lower & vice-versa. Bottom line - Love the Marley turntable!

Close But It Needs Improvement
Looks beautiful. With the right setup, it sounds amazing, but.... It has some shortfalls, and concerns. What I like: (1) Beautiful look and color! (2) Easy wiring connection on the back. (3) Amazing sound - especially with powered Bookshelf speakers. What I wish was different: (1) Weight on arm can be a challenge to get right - and has limited range of adjustment (2) 30% of albums (even new ones) skip (3) Matching Bluetooth speakers that you can buy are a disappointment* (4) Does not auto return at the end (although the turntable does stop) (5) No proper cover (although there is a vinyl bag) (6) Tracking of arm is hard to get 100% right More details: I bought this as a reward for a house project (room) I was working on, and finally got a chance to use it in "my new room" Christmas day. I purchased the matching bluetooth speaks as well (same brand), and got it all setup up and bluetooth connected. First album was a mint conditioned Steve Winwood album (no stratches), but it has just a little wobble to it (not really bad). Within 60 seconds it skipped. Checked record for scratches and cleaned it. I adjusted tracking on the needle and weight. But only got marginal improvement. Thinking it was album, I switched to brand new Fleetwood Mac Rumors LP, but it skipped too. I tried to adjust arm weight and tracking more - only marginal improvement. Fortunately. Beatles album played flawlessly. Sound was tinny though. So I swapped speakers out with a nice set of powered bookshelf speakers, and sound quality was 500% better. AMAZING. But still same problem with albums regarding the occasional skips. I bought a highly regarded center weight to flatten records as they play for record player, but no improvement on albums that skipped. Next step is to swap out the needle with a better brand component to see it if fixes it. I'm also having a friend with a high-end turntable check to see if records that skip for me are a problem for him, but I doubt it. If anything changes - I will update the review. I want to love this with 5 stars - but just being honest.
