Jameson FG-6/3F Fiberglass Pole Set

My 25 foot tall palms' best friend. Strong, sturdy, secure connections. The cutting attachments (purchased separately) fit perfectly. The only thing easier than this is a lifter device and a power saw. It is a tall pole, and it can require some strength to maneuver, but safe use and taking frequent rest will get the job done. Tree trimmers just lost some work.

Very solid construction, very sharp, well packaged for shipping and worth the money. This pole cutter has already paid for itself.

Love the quality and separation of poles which is easy and snap together quickly as long as you line up the hole and clip. But once you get all pieces together, it’s very heavy and awkward to lift up to a tree or palm branches etc.

We use this pole saw often. Our tree service guy recommended we buy this to do smaller branches ourselves. We have so much money by trimming trees. It paid itself off the first day we used it (what we would have spent to have our tree guy to trim trees). You do have to be careful - branches don't always fall the way you think they will!

The joints fit well together making the system rigid and sturdy. Saw cuts very well. Able to cut limbs 25 or so feet off the ground. Used the hook attachment to move and pull limbs and stabilize while cutting limbs. Hook attachment was handy to get a rope or pull string up in higher branches. Will probably get the limb pruner next. Tree crew cutting power line right of way in front of house saw pole set and had the same sets on their trucks. In this area a lot of the power lines are inaccessible to bucket trucks so their pole saws get used a lot.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: These polls are very well designed. The locking pin between segments rotates just enough that you can see when the holes align, then rotate it back into place. This approach probably results is a little more wobble or play in the assembled poll than a screw-in joint, but then there is no concern that the segments come unscrewed during use. With all four segments in use, there is some play in the full poll, but it still works well enough.
